As a side note here, metal leggings are actually metal
chain leggings. Whilst I won't give them a different price from other leggings, it might be an important distinction.
A new day is rising and the stands are full of people waiting for a full day of carnage. All of them want to make up for what they missed during the zombie invasions and they will today on Day 15.
In an early match-up of the two highest ranked humans, Clara and Matthias faced off. Clara entered the arena expecting to be against a gorilla, but was surprised by a not-so-confident Matthias. Clara started quickly, hacking away at the right lower leg and opening it up for more than interpretation. Matthias struck out at perhaps the wrong opponent in retaliation and simply opened an artery in Ratel. Clara, filled with rightful anger at the damaging of her badger, chopped with a fury and the right lower leg came off. The badger from there proceeded to act more as a distraction, biting the human and forcing him to take time to get Ratel off. Clara proceeded to hack with ease, hacking off a right upper arm and making him bleed out in the middle of the arena.
Clara wins 188 Urists(!)
Seeking to climb onto the next rung on the way to stardom, Sodel challenged Karrk. Snarling all the way, Karrk charged the unsuspecting dwarf and brought him to the ground, but couldn't take advantage until Sodel stood up again. Charging again, this time he slashed the dwarf in the left hand, disabling it and forcing him to drop his sword. The next attack, Sodel lost his right upper arm, and from there the battle was finished. The Tigerman, however, had difficulty actually winning the battle, all slashes after that only missing or being dodged. When Bragheera finished biting apart the jaguar, Karrk hardly missed a step and broke the upper spine, putting him out of the battle. Although Sodel tried to fight back, he was fighting a losing battle as his blood seeped onto the arena floor, and a few seconds after Bragheera was stabbed through the brain, Sodel was out of time.

Dastot, fan of ellipsis that he is, trailed off his conversation with the Arena guard and strode into the arena. The battle got off to a long, quiet start, the only injuries of note being a chopped off tail for the ice wolf and a disabled hand for Naka. After a nasty shot from Dastot to chop into the wolf, Naka charged him, knocking him down and biting him. Naka bruised a tendon, but it was the wolf's bite that did the real damage, tearing apart the left foot and putting Dastot on the ground. Soon, the dwarf had a broken right arm and an unconscious mind, and Naka gave no mercy, shattering the skull and tearing the brain.

Tersr fought the horde, and he fought well, but there were too much for him and he quickly fell beneath their blows. Then he woke up.
Fekod challenged a recently victorious Karrk, and Administration couldn't come up with an adequate lead-in. What fourth wall? Karrk charged early, putting Fekod on the ground and then stabbing his left upper arm off. Without his mace, Fekod could do little, but the battle kept rolling, shots getting blocked away constantly, but when Karrk charged again, the dwarf's right foot came off. Soon after, there was only one being with two legs standing, and one dwarf bled out on the ground.

Bronze High boots cost 60, not 30, so 30 deducted from total.
Disdaining the practice of better weaponry, Pan reached for the armor and walked into the arena.
In what can only be called a pretty boring battle battle, the Jaguar comprehensively destroyed Jim, scratching away at his paralyzed prey after a shot to the middle spine. After finally just biting it, the jaguar let it bleed out onto the ground.
Bob, however, was doing alright against the Jaguar, even biting it to little effect once. Then, Karrk got involved and two strikes later a hand and a lower body were flying away from the body.
From there, it was Pan and Karrk plus a Jaguar. Pan quickly destroyed the jaguar, jamming the skull through the brain, and Karrk could only bruise by stabbing through armor. Then, Pan made a rather stupid decision and charged the much larger tigerman, who promptly put her on the ground and sliced off her shield-hand. The two then fought again, both parrying, dodging and, on Karrk's side, blocking. However, Pan didn't quite seem to learn her lesson and charged again, getting knocked back easily. Karrk quickly struck at the left upper arm, severing an artery and a sensory nerve, but she didn't drop her hammer. Still unable to get through her bronze armor, he simply charged, using brute force in a stab to the right lower leg to fracture the bone. One more stab, this time to the head, took away any chance of a comeback from Pan by tearing the upper spine, and it wasn't long after that Pan bled out.

Why, indeed you did! You would have 214 not 224 after selling your copper sword (200+(28/2)=214). Additionally, you can't use obsidian or any type of rock for that matter in the arena, so that is not bought. Also, copper sword not sold as otherwise you'd fight unarmed.
Charging early, Jack managed to slash apart a paw, but he bounced back and fell on the ground. Not one to give up, he charged again and this time fractured the lower spine. Soon paws were flying off and the jaguar was getting a stab to the brain, shattering the skull and tearing the brain.

I have never seen a worse day for gladiators, going 2W5L on the day, although one loss was inevitable (Clara v.s Matthias) the rest were all upsets, an amazing occurrence. However, Karrk might not be simply winning on luck and rather be using his massive size to muscle his was past the relatively minute gladiators. Prides may be hurt, but there really was little harm done, though Clara has pulled within a win away from uncontested first place and a Sodel loss away from a two-way Net Worth race for first.
With most of the gladiators limping after losses, they go to bed. Hopefully, a new day will give them a new outlook and some victories. Especially uplifting might be the news of an upcoming Tournament, scheduled to be on Day 18, giving the gladiators 2 days to prepare.
