Matisa doesn't really care who she bunks with. Plus Elans just need a 4 hour trance rather than sleep.

I call the Kobold for my roommate. Solace takes up most of the room anyway, so I'd opt for one of the smaller rooms. That way there isn't any extra space that's being wasted. We can take the bunks from that room and relocate them to the larger rooms, if they want more bed space.

I call the aquatic Dwarf as a roommate.

I call the Kobold for my roommate.

Agreed.

Also, I propose a house rule-no devouring of bunkmates.

Okay... I miscounted. We have ten players. That means the captain's cabin isn't really any more special than the other cabins.

The Alternate 1 doesn't give everyone their ideal choices, but it removes the most obvious conflicts. Hitty40 ends up with the troll because we are both Lawful Good. Cript is the odd Lawful out, but he specifically requested to be with Barbossa. Maniac's tiny woman doesn't end up with some guy sleeping in her room, and in fact due to Red's sleeping habits, no extra bunk is even needed in that room. The only other solution I see is tossing someone into the common crew quarters or finding room for another entire room.

Fool, please ensure the beds in the room I am in are at least 10' long.

Also Dwarmin, what if she dreams of eating a giant marshmallow? It would just be too humorous to outlaw!

Well, we aren't bunkmates. Unless you really want to make a bed that's 18+ feet long. If the rooms are 10x10, Solace would fill up the entire floor, all coiled up. Solution? Relocate the bottom bunk bed, give Solace the floor. The Kobold could just sleep in the top bunk or somewhere in Solace's coils.

Also, I made this. I shortened/thinned the tail a bunch to keep with the style. If you don't know the style, I suggest that you acquaint yourself with its origin. :P

I'll finish the last floor once I'm back from work, but I think I won't even have a room. I'll sleep in the antechamber of the hole at the bottom of the ship. I wanted a place with water so that my character wouldn't need to do fort checks after only 9 hours, but now that I think about it that would also make a good place to sleep.

Umm, I'm opposed to putting a hole into the ship that sneaky people can board through... Can we make your bunk a waterbed instead?

Or alternatively, make an "aquatic room" in the bottom of the ship somewhere WITHOUT a hole going outside in it?

Lets just throw you overboard with a rope around your ankle during the day? That way you can sleep in a normal bed at night.

We could have a pump system connected to the engine that pulls water from the ocean into a desalination area (did they have those? Shouldn't be too hard- just evaporation and recollection). Before it hits desalination, it would split. Part of it would cycle through the Aquatic Room, then rejoin with the desalination pipe. They would then be desalinated for drinking and bathing. Does that make sense?

I imagine a desalination system would be in the realm of probability. This says it's ancient technology.
The question is why filter it through an aquatic room at all?

I am in favor of a giant fishtank in the bottom deck for Baldal. It can exit to the Lower deck.

In fact, let's make it an aquatic section/brig. Two watertight rooms, they can be emptied or filled as needed, with their own hatches leading to the Lower deck. We can put people into a "pit" then if needed. Or multiple people. Aquatic and non-aquatic. And have a Bedroom for Baldal.

I would like to point out here that the ocean is of fresh water.

Doh. It wasn't that important to me so I ignored it. Yep. So no need for a Desalination system.

I like Cript's idea, he can help pull the ship!

And either of those sleeping arrangements would do fine for me.
