Just checking, that one thousand gold is instead of and not on top of the normal amount right?

I just noticed we do not have a Rogue. Maybe I should get that.

I am seriously tempted to have a go at this, but I have never played DnD before. If you guys give me a hand with the details and stuff, I'll be your rogue.

I'll help with character creation if anyone has questions. I've made many characters before. I can normally say which book things are from, or if a feat exists in the books somewhere.

Here is my WIP sheet. I'll put an actual name and finalize the sheet later tomorrow. I need some sleep at some point tonight. :)

That whole race concept has me puzzled.  The evolutionary implications are perplexing and the trade off of an attack bonus with very weak weapons for amphibious ability seems a no-brainer.  But what's strangest of all is that apparently rocks aren't common among shoal halflings so they don't get a chance to practice throwing them ??? .

Here's the prototype of Nemesis Saberhawk, Ardent of Water, Force, and Mental Power. Still working on it, but the morrow brings more time for work.

Sure. First thing you do is make a myth weavers account. Then you head on over to http://www.d20srd.org/ which has enough to play in a core only game -for the most part- there might be little bits you need help with.

If you come across things you need help with feel free to ask me or anyone here. I am sure we will be able to help you.

Grek, is it possible to have the Landwalker feat from Stormwrack (p.92)? I think that it would be a fair to assume that other Aquatic races could get this feat based on the description.

Can I be a grey Elf Grek? I figure it makes more sense then a high elf since we are going to be underground and all.

Also. How do we handle health? Should we take average per level?

Okay, I want to join. I'm thinking of doing an Awakened Cat Swashbuckler.

He'll wear boots.

How about it? :)

(Edit: This was a joke, designed to create a placeholder until I decided what I really want, but now I really think I want to play an awakened cat...)

(Edit 2:
Spoiler: Backstory (click to show/hide)
I'm thinking of a Cleric of Ferrix, determined to eventually lead a slave rebellion of all cats everywhere or something.)

I'd really like to play a Binder, Shadowcaster, or Totemist, but the Binder and Shadowcaster lack excerpts and there's only two soulmelds in the MoI excerpt...

Hm... Warblade could be possible since the web enhancement has all the maneuvers, and the class itself is a free excerpt. Alternatively, I could go Soulknife->Soulbow, since that's also a free excerpt.

I could be human, but humans are boring and it would be much more interesting if everyone had Stormwrack, because it's great for adventures at sea.

@Races: Aquatic Dwarves (and Aquatic whatevers, really), Shoal Halflings & Grey Elves are all acceptable. Awakened cats are not.

@Criptfeind: Yes, 1000 instead of the normal amount. Roll during the first session or take average.

@mainiac: Next weekend (the 4th - 6th) is the "Design boat, buy supplies, obtain crew members" session. It's acceptable if you miss that one, but you'll miss out on voting on what sort of boat you want.

@The Fool: Landwalker is acceptable for all aquatic races. Character sheet approved.

@Barbarossa & Hitty: Withholding judgement on character sheets until they're finished.

@Hitty: You need to fill in your base saves, feats, skill ranks, and probably buy arrows.

He needs to worship Ceiling Cat.
