I apologize for my lack of activity. It is out of my control. I will notify you upon my return to the forums.

Muahahah... Update's almost ready. Lost a lot of time yesterday going for a run and some ice cream with my cousin. Wait, didn't that make the run useless? In any matter, Ashton was so kind as to provide a nice short animation for me, and in the process of writing this update I've worked out quite a few AWESOME plot ideas. ;) I'm hoping to actually get it done today... If my family doesn't invariably kidnap me, which they will. :| In Brazil we have 2 days of celebration full of Barbecue and alcohol from Christmas Eve all the way to Christmas non-stop, with everyone staying up and celebrating.

Scheming
What scares me is that almost all crew members are plot devices in and of themselves.

Hehehe... Yes, yes they are. I not only have planned absolutes each character will do, BUT I leave a whole lot (90% of the story) to your picking to really give each character a realistic personality and a bit of randomness. SO, while 'Life' will throw set situations at you, its up to you to choose what reaction you'll afford to each situation.

Which is why I want everyone to pick a job and 3 skills that they can relate to, or they have in real life, or that they know a bit about. For example, as an Air Force intelligence officer-in-training and an Insurance Agent, and an individual with much knowledge and interest in Psychology, it would make sense for me to function as a diplomat, trader, or soldier on the Hyperion. In fact, I'll be personally playing a neutral-party NPC on the station which I'll introduce this turn in order to assist the PCs. The other neutral-party NPCs will eventually become available for control by PCs in the course of the RP.

IMPORTANT:

Furthermore, please be aware that Hyperion will be moved to the new Pixels! website itself. :) I'll be posting the turn here as well, but the actual game will be moved to the Pixels! website. For the sake of our B12 brethren and the hope of new players, I'll be posting each turn in this thread regardless, this thread having been turned into a sort of OOC thread for Rise of Hyperion.

Thanks for your infinite patience while I sort my chaotic life out and slowly churn out awesome content for your entertainment. I do my best, and I sincerely hope you enjoy it all. I pour my heart into my work, and its my greatest pleasure to GM Rise of Hyperion with such a wonderful bunch of Bay12ers. You guys rock! :D

We love chatting about how each character will react to certain situations.

I like the part where he finishes the entire storyline and implements it all in one update... before we actually get past the first turn and explore the station.

I think he may end up using Schrodinger's gun... a lot.

WOO! I HAVE INTERNET!

And the Pixels website has been re-launched. Well, its under heavy construction to make it EPIC, but I'm still moving Hyperion over. I go back to the US on tuesday so today I'm effectuating the move to the Pixelsgame.org website. I'll provide the link when its set up.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.
