You have no idea. I came up with the Darkspawn when I was 13 years old and obsessed with Lovecraft. Trust me, they draw heavy, horrific influence from the Cthulhu saga.

HAH, one of my favorites. The only story, movie, book, or idea that's ever scared the shit out of me, and yet exhilarated me as if I were about to discover the holy grail, was At The Mountains of Madness. Oh gods, that story sends chills down my spine. That is by FAR my favorite.

Those who know me and have participated in my old literary magazine/poetry book know I draw a heavy influence from Lovecraft, and my philosophical work has been compared positively to Nietzsche by my old teachers and professors many times in the past.
