I'm sure I've seen this somewhere, but I must be searching for the wrong thing because I can't find it... So sorry for asking again buuuut:

I have an injured dwarf who is being ignored. His foot was torn off by a giant skeletal lion, but no one is taking him to hospital. Is there a work around to this bug?

I have a work around make a channel and plunge him down a level. Just rememer to make supports for the area that is going to crash otherwise its likely going to cut through your fortress

I had something similer happen, if that is the only injury that he recived the only medical care he will recive is a crutch. For some reason severed limbs dont need to be wraped.

Thanks for the help everyone. I'm channeling right now to see if I can encourage someone to bring the poor fellow back inside before more Giant Skeletal Lions appear!

You could always try putting him in a squad of his own and giving him a move order to the hospital. I think there's some setting where they don't haul things from outside the fort or something, I dunno, it might include injured. Unless he's passing out constantly, at least the move order will get him away from the lions.

I also imagine the situation going down like this:

Urist McNofoot: OH ARMOK MY FOOT! IT TORE OFF MY FOOT!

Urist McDoctor: We must save this man! But... then again... These seeds do need to be planted, and I haven't had a good sleep in a while...

Urist McNofoot: OH DEAR LORD MY BLOOD! MY BLOOD IS EVERYWHERE!

Urist McDoctor: Zzzzz....
