Alrighty then.

Get out of the way of the Stasis spawner and fly a bit closer to it. Scan the whole thing, and if it seems interesting and harmless, see if I can get it into the cargo hold. Be sure that it's clear before doing this, of course.

Save 24-bit bitmap, NOT JPEG. JPEG will pixelate the shit out of it and ruin the picture and colors.

It depends on the type of game.

For this one. No. Since you will be modifying and reusing the same picture over and over it will not work. Soon it will become a blurry mess and others will not be able to make precise pictures them self.

Also, can I ask what you even need to upload a picture for?

Those would be handled by the Gm with you giving a rough description not showing him how you want to upgrade it. (As doing that actually falls to the GM not the player unless the GM says otherwise)

ok im installing some small sensors and zako is flying the ship over to scan the pod after i instal the sensors.
comp is geneticaly engineering some new plants to grow faster.

Right, so we have 6 dudes. Let's get our posts sorted out quickly. Here's what I reckon we should have:

Pilot/Captain
Copilot
Engineer
Security
Agriculture
Science/Medical

I reckon that should cover just about everything and keep it all ordered for our GM. Dibs on being either Pilot or Copilot!

I was going to be a pirate captain, but it seems that there is a lot of competition for pilot/captain. Nobody wants anything to do with science or medical, so I guess I will be the ship's scientist with significant theoretical knowledge of medicine...

I shall investigate the effects of reversing a pixel's polarity.
