First things first: Toady would need to change current spore reproduction into something more realistic. Otherwise, nope.

I want interspecies breeding via spores. Call me insane, but I want cave crocowamblers.

But then the only thing stopping the elves from accidentally sporing your dwarves is the marriage thing.
And you just know that the instant toady tries to change the way relationships work somehow, it would come back to haunt us all in glorious bug form.

I'm curious what the barely conscious ai wrote about.
Well that went better than expected.  He went nuts and punched a rabbit to death, then the dogs and the whole dining hall ripped him to shreds.

A stocky four-foot-tall dwarf with an anarcho-libertarian woodsy mindset to hermit himself in a forest and eke out his own existence. He'd carve out a nice halfway-into-the-ground split-level abode of wood, stone, and soil and tend to a small plot and hunt. Making his own booze, clothes, and weapons, he'd find himself one day stumbling upon a scene where a shy female kobold is viciously mauled by a Gigantic Panda. Urist McDoesNotNeedAnyone kills her attacker, binds her wounds, and takes her to his bed where he awkwardly re-learns how to care about other sentient beings. In time, as she gradually recovers to the point where she helps him with small things, he grows to love. Species lines be damned, he has never admired another being quite like this. That being deserves his penis.

And then they pound it. Hard.

Yeah.

Oh yeah.

I specifically want Dwarf-Kobold relations implemented in the game. Kobolds are so cute.

The thing that confuses me about dorfs is this. Dorf 1 dies in an avalance or somesuch. Dorf 2 is friends with dorf 3 and dorf 1. Dorf 2 berserks because of his friends death and kills dorf 3. also a friend. W. T. F.

At least I would have a great goal for my adventurers: hunting all half whatevers into extinction. And I mean all of them.

Perhaps if interspecies breeding was a world gen option. I would disable it.

On another note, consider that if hybrids are everywhere, mad wizards' experiments will be nothing special.

Aren't kobolds a little small?  Even for a dwarf?  Actually, hm...I probably shouldn't talk.

Oh Gods we now have a new reason to hunt and kill kobolds wherever they hide...

...And that reason is to spite Protactinium. :)

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Is it just me, or was anyone else expecting a link to a porn novel about dwarves and their kobold sex slaves?

'cause I would totally read that.
