i do like steam chat though its easier and i dont want to download loads of IRC crap to be honest

There are in-browser clients though, so I don't think accessibility is really an issue.

I convinced everyone to use an IRC channel this time. I guess some people had trouble with the mibbit client, but there was no disconnecting!
