Well, I'll be trying to host a game of Paranoia on Friday, 4:30 EST.  Going to be focusing around Magiscience compared to Dom's Warhammer universe mix.

I'll join myself, magiscience is always fun. Especially when you somehow corrupt the GM's plans and make a magi-tek character that shouldn't exist as they cancel eachother out.

I might join, if there's room and I have time. Starting in about 45 minutes, correct?

What do you mean by this?

If anyone couldn't tell, my (Den's) lack of creativity turned out to be rather harmful. I sat by uselessly shooting lasers while my teammates: transformed into light, then darkness, consuming the monster; flew with balloons and threw barrels at it, for significant damage; and fired heavy beams. I was a bit more help in the second fight, but not by much. This type of play was very new to me. Quite fun, in some respects; thanks, empfan!

You did fine, don't worry.  Join tomorrow's game, Dom's tend to be a bit more civil then mine, I'm just sad I didn't get to use my other boss idea for this session...ah well, now I can use it for next friday, if you guys're up for letting me GM again

Also, what I meant by flail was that I'm not too good with the constant running around with both the private stuff as well as rolling for the main game, so even if you didn't notice I was stressing a bit when things got hectic (Like when Abobo decided to use his uber move) and I think I missed a few actions as well

Trust me with pen and paper RPGs Lectorog you will have times of luster and those where you simply lack it. It is all about going with the flow.

I've had games where my character basically sat on his butt for several whole sessions because there wasn't a lot he could do (I was playing a Sorcerer in dungeons and dragons and my spells were set up to save the party if they got in trouble) and the inexperienced players even complained that I wasn't contributing.

Which reminds me I need to pick up a notepad and some pencils at some point for this...

Truth be told, Paranoia is the only Pen&Paper I've ever played, and I've only played about 10 sessions. So far I just spout crazy things and see if the GM lets me do it, and so far it's turned out pretty good for me, turning into crazy light things and dark things. Just do what seems fun, I guess.
