But form in the context it was used, implied that light energy was being formed, not transferred, which would break the first law of thermodynamics (I think:), in a literal dictionary:P)

Interesting idea, might do it in the future, but the dictionary isn't too messy to quit just yet, might start a poll on it though ^_^

Only in the original formulation of the law. Modern physics embraces mass-energy equivalence. Or in other words... I'm thinking about this too hard, aren't I?

I'm not talking about mass energy equivalence, I'm talking about creating energy out of nothing:P
