Damn. I cannot wait for the sequel, just for something to do. I mean, I can't think of anything to write that isn't related, 100 billion chapters or boring.

And now I've got a really strange mental image of ponies with fingers sprouting from their hooves.

Technically, Horses do have fingers. They also happen to be digigrade instead of plantigrade, because those 'fingers' are their hooves.

And they can even grasp with them.

Yes, and technically bats have fingers, but you hardly ever see people refer to them as such, because they fall outside the (urgh, can't believe I'm saying this) common usage definition of fingers, which are typically talked about in the context of hominids.

If I wasn't so sleepy right now, I'd draw that little xenomorphesque pony with a hand I've been wanting to draw for a while.
And the word you wanted was "digitigrade".

Also, seconding the want for the sequel.

Speaking of which, does anyone want to help me write a version of the current fic that would comply to EqD content standards? (because really, it's not a question of if it'll get shot down, but when and how hard) It'd still have to be the same outcome, but more sensible and better tied into the plot. And less descriptive. I know, it's an odd idea, but if the sequels do happen, I'd like them to be presentable as a whole series, not three stories and a trollfic.

You're right, but after looking it up it actually turns out that horses would be 'unguligrade' because they're hoofed.

As for the content thing, Equestria Daily's made exceptions before, whether they'll admit it or not, and I'm certain if we get popular enough they'll do it again.
