(using the same combat rules as ashton, which were basically the combat rules from RISK with bonuses)

Turn 6

Date: Dusk on the 14th, January 2786

As the sun sets upon the Nomad Farmer, it crushes the bandits before they could say a word. While charging closer to give their weapons a chance at hitting would've been a good idea most of the time, luck was against them today, and it seemed to refuse to let them succeed this day, even though Stabby did manage to hit one of the bandits.

Spoiler:  Boom. (click to show/hide)

Even heavily wounded so, the Nomad trudges onwards, escaping the bandits just barely. Everyone ends up back on town, except the dead, though with the food blown away by the blast and the farm in burnt tatters, its questionable whether or not they'll survive to restore it or buy some extra food. No one said life in the desert was ever easy, and that trek in and then rushingly outwards surely proved so.

Ok, I'm trying to work out how they took out at LEAST half of our town down in a single round.

...Not happening.

Might as well ride back to the trading plaza.

if you look closely you see they hit the fuel reserve of our blimp ... apparently the fuel in this world is the equivalent to NITROGLYCERINE.

I'll go see if I can find anything that would be useful in repairing the Nomad.

ouch...
I say, ouch!

Right, that was painful. Would benefit from some coin for the metal for repairs and food till the farm's back up and running (that, and we need 2 food anyways to repair the farm at all)

'Ere, we're back in town yes? Are we just using last visit's prices for trade then? (I suggest when we get trade back up, to sell the scarcium for the resources to repair besides other things we may want bought. I also totally suggest a hangar for our future airship! :P)

I'll get working on the cargo hold.

It wasn't just the fuel, it was also partly because of the Old Tech round they hit it with. Explosive round, combined with flammable material.

I've been waiting to see if anyone previous wants to join first, drago. Elfeater and one or two others were first in the list.

:(

Ehndras collects the bodies of the dead and performs a simple ritual to guide them to the spirit world. He thanks Wounded Earth for her bounty and has hope in his heart that his comrades will one day be avenged. He shall keep his rifle on him at all times in case the bandits or other bandits show up.

HEY, I just realized... Why did I not take my shot? i.e., we had 3 guns, and only 1 guy shot at the raiders? Bah.

The rest of the rolls were all 2s and then 4s against them afterwards, and I didn't want to completely wreck the turn. So there were tactical reverse-advances in the townward direction.

so whats the waiting list? and whos on it?
go back a page or two and count all the counts of waiting list. I haven't made one in the OP partly because I've been distracted, and partly because the thread is only four pages long right now so thy aren't that hard to find anyway.
