Food, or fertilizer. the fuel fragments might work, or there might be old foods in the cave.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

We have no food, and I'm pretty sure human (pix?) remains are poor for fertilizer. Fuel fragments are the only option.

Also, you guys were fairly warned that you were spending way, way, way too much food for trading at the start.

Actually, human remains are the BEST kind of fertilizer there is. I'd assume Pix bodies would be too. :P

ok, so we can indeed work with rebuilding the farm. What of the rest? We don't have the metal to make full repairs.

Also, Squeaky. The cargo hold was blown up, we lost all our stored food, so it's actually a good thing we sold them off or else it would have been lost for nothing if things kept the same.

If we'd kept the food, we would have been able to afford to pay off the bandits.

Aye, but what would keep them from taking whatever they want, anyway? As soon as we say "sure we'll pay the ransom" they go "Okay, then we're raising the ransom. TROLOLOLOLOLOLOL"

C'est la vie, non?

Then we would have made a show of loading the food into their habitats before taking one of them over, destroying the other, capturing the bandits and selling them as slaves.

If they really were that ruthless, they would have taken things right away. Now, I can see how "Round up your plants or scarcium in a visible place so I can let you go" could be a trap, but willing to let some airship travelers get away? And specifying "or"? Plus, I'm pretty sure Old Tech is sophisticated, simple knuckleheads probably can't get it running.

I'm a very diplomatic person, eheh. We need farms up pronto, though.

Any of you guys have skype, or some such?

I need to know who's planning to join, and what their ideas or proposed jobs are. Suggestions, too, those are helpful. Preferably, pick something you actually know about. :P Don't be a virologist if you don't know what the difference between a bacterium and a virus is. ;) At least be good enough to bullshit your way through your job in a somewhat useful manner. :P
