Man, I wish we had more rifles. I feel naked without one.

Anyways, I'm not overly keen with the sudden direction change of 2 of the smaller towns. I shall join the armed guards, though I am unarmed, just in case. I'll be looking at the farm tho incase of that rustling again. Yay, paranoia :P

Do not reveal my position. Lay prone behind any rock or desert shrub cover I can muster, and should anyone exit the vehicle, approach the vehicle and scout from their flank. Depending on the numbers and their weaponry, we can scare them off by firing at them (and wounding/killing them) from afar with our rifles. With no idea how many gunners are out there, they'll retreat to return with backup later on. If they seem less like hostile bloodthirsty raiders and more like curious travelers, continue watching while we see how they react to running into the regular unarmed folk on the habitat. Should chaos ensue, pick off the more heavily-armed targets, prioritized by anyone near our guys, and the actual driver of the habitat if we can muster.

Should I have a clear opening, attempt to infiltrate the small habitat vehicle and disable its systems.[/

Edit: Not really multiple moves, but a move for multiple possible situations.

The two towns come to a stop within firing distance of the town, and several armed pixels get off each. They walk up to the ramp/door and clang on it, and while Ehndras watches them while being a rock near the Nomad Farmer, Chief Engineer Edio answers them.

"You stumble upon our hidden cache of Old Tech, including an object that lets the town become one with the air and no longer be seen. Pay the toll and do not tell, or we will kill you and dismantle your non-farming parts. The toll is a single scarcium or 30 food, up front. You have until sunset to decide, we shall wait in your shade." After asking whose airship it is atop the place, Scout Sayaks comes back and (4) convincingly bluffs about being a pilot and desert researcher, who promised not to say a word of this, but asked for a reduced price since he by himself owned no scarcium. "We are not greedy bandits, curious pilot, we can compromise. 5 food for you, and 2 for each of your aides is doable, yes?"

(You've got 13 food right now, and 1 scarcium. Everything else is the same as last turn. The Zephyr tide could hold 4 spawners maximum, if they were partially dismantled into just the spawner, not the spot that you appear at. without partial dismantling it could hold two. You guys would all need to hang onto the outside of the ship to do either of those, btw. And that was a d6 roll, not a d20 or something like that)

Since they don't know about us, meaning me and the other scouts, it'll be relatively cheap. Theres, what, only 3 people on the habitat right now? 4?

I say pay the food, and lets get the fuck out of here. Later when we've got heavier weapons we can assault the damn place and take their cloaking technology. ;)

I'll continue attempting to not be seen.
Which will either reduce the price if we decide to pay, or let me attack from hiding if we don't.

THeres six people on the Nomad right now, you're hidden nearby, stabby is watching from atop the place next to the airship (but is unseen), MoM is scouting, and Sayaks is (to them) an airship pilot.

You don't have 30 food though, Ehndras. you have 13, the desert has been halving your food production. it would take some desert protection that took less than a day and a whole day of grown food to get to 30 from where you are right now.

So we need 17 food, and even if we had that, giving it all to them would leave us foodless.

How many of them are there? And what sort of weaponry do they have?

THere are 4 of them stiing in the shade of the town, armed with glowing rifles.
(1) Engineer Edio has no idea what they could be.

Roughly how alert are they?
And any signs of life on their 2 habitats as well?

We don't need 30 food....

We need 5(2) + 5 = 15... Fuck.

Hmmmm.

That's not good. Perhaps we can ask them if we may join them and work for their town, as we only have 13 food and it we give it away we'll starve? Not like we have a better idea, anyway.

Ehndras will continue to lay low, guns trained on the outsiders, just in-case our men need backup

Btw, what do you guys think of me running an X-COM-like version of Pixels?? Pretty much, planets, ships, alien attacks, space stations, raids, etc?

I say yes to that Ehndras.

They are as alert as you'd expect desert bandits to be, and the habs are just barely within visual distance, obviously their firing range is much longer than yours with your rifles.

How quickly can we get out habitat moving? And how effectively would it crush 4 bandits to death?
