The two towns come to a stop within firing distance of the town, and several armed pixels get off each. They walk up to the ramp/door and clang on it, and while Ehndras watches them while being a rock near the Nomad Farmer, Chief Engineer Edio answers them.
"You stumble upon our hidden cache of Old Tech, including an object that lets the town become one with the air and no longer be seen. Pay the toll and do not tell, or we will kill you and dismantle your non-farming parts. The toll is a single scarcium or 30 food, up front. You have until sunset to decide, we shall wait in your shade." After asking whose airship it is atop the place, Scout Sayaks comes back and (4) convincingly bluffs about being a pilot and desert researcher, who promised not to say a word of this, but asked for a reduced price since he by himself owned no scarcium. "We are not greedy bandits, curious pilot, we can compromise. 5 food for you, and 2 for each of your aides is doable, yes?"
(You've got 13 food right now, and 1 scarcium. Everything else is the same as last turn. The Zephyr tide could hold 4 spawners maximum, if they were partially dismantled into just the spawner, not the spot that you appear at. without partial dismantling it could hold two. You guys would all need to hang onto the outside of the ship to do either of those, btw. And that was a d6 roll, not a d20 or something like that)
