I enjoyed that. Not at all the style of music I usually listen to, but the melody was all ethereal with that heavy and abrupt beat behind it. Dig it.

I play guitar and it is pretty much my favorite thing to do. I've been considering pursuing a career as a concert guitarist, but my output tends toward Dylan ripoff folksy stuff.

This being one. It's pretty awesome, uses bit shifts. I also am starting to make things on FL studio but I've never played an instrument so I don't have the instinct. I made one song today, if by made you mean arranged a bunch of patterns my friend never bothered putting together. I think it sounds pretty cool so I'd upload it if anyone's interested.

I play clarinet, a little piano, and guitar.

I'm learning the DF theme right now, and I'll probably record myself playing it when I'm done. In fact, if I could just find a microphone, I'll record myself attempting it.

(Note: I suck quite a bit, so don't worry if you think the descending triplets sound "like shit". Because they do )

EDIT: 3rd attempt, worse than the first. Deleted the first recording due to being not-all-that-but-still-bad. Oh well.

I picked up guitar pretty recently, im not at decent level even yet. Practice, practice, practice...
I find drums most fun instrument, but parents make stupid excuses of not buying drum set becouse it takes too much room, so i decided to make mine out of cardboard and paper. (its actuallly kinda real sized. Used cardboard from old TV boxes and stuff.)

I don't play any of them very well, but I still sometimes record myself badly. You'll have to excuse the noise and the poor editing.

The first three are less different than you might think, since the fingerings are all pretty much the same (the penny whistle requires half-holing for stuff outside two diatonic scales, the wind synth has octave rollers instead of the saxophone's octave key). Actually, for any woodwind players looking for an instrument to mess around with, I'd have to recommend penny whistles. A top-notch whistle can be had for $30 or $40, and they're trivial to become competent with, although the fancy ornamentation like you'll hear in Celtic music takes a bit of work.
