Anyway, I'm currently at school to be an audio engineer. I don't play any instrument very well at all, but I like creating music anyway. I'm currently in the midst of getting some songs together so I can put something up on bandcamp -- and if I'm really lucky -- make some gas money to take the edge off bleeding money to go to school.

Quite cool. "Still Alive" works surprisingly well like that, it seems.

 I used to play the euphonium back in high school days. I recently dug the thing out and gave it a go. The resulting sound was not pretty. If you enjoy playing an instrument, keep at it, is I guess the lesson there.

Thanks! Unfortunately my baritone is borrowed from my school, so unless I find the thousand dollars or so it would cost for a new one, I'm pretty screwed on that. 

I'm currently working on arranging The Village of Dwarves for a baritone, flute, trombone, and trumpet quartet. Baritone makes a surprisingly good replacement for a bass.

I'm a rusty but experienced Saxophonist, with close to 10 years of music under my belt, though I've not been playing regularly in the last few years. My most experience is in chamber, symphonic, and jazz performance, though I've dabbled in many genres. I used to teach lessons for new musicians, and once had the honor of playing on stage at Carnegie Hall (many years ago), and studied under a student of one of the greatest living saxophonists.

I play around with electronic music composition, but I'm not very good at it. One of these days, I'd like to learn Guitar and Bass, and perhaps Fiddle.

I've been learning to play the piano on my own for a little over a year now, off and on. I'm okay, but I haven't done much past playing scales and chords expertly, though I'm getting somewhere. I can read sheet music for the most part, and I like being lazy and converting it to FL Studio things out of boredom. I'd also like to learn to play cello as well, 'cause they are awesome.

I used to sing in a band called Pitfall, recorded a few of our songs quite a few years back, 2008 I think. Here's a song called Since you disappeared and here's Contra Alibi.
I also do stuff on my own, I've played the piano since I was 4, but stopped playing it in 2008, I've been picking it up lately again, also been playing guitar for some time now. Dabbled a bit into electronic music, nothing too serious.

I'm an intermediate to advanced classical percussionist, (about 6 years of fairly intense instruction) and I sing in a choir, an acapella group, and sundry musicals for about 3 hours a day, so I am getting better at that very fast though I've only been doing that for about 4 years. I also (sorta) play piano, which I took years of lessons for when I was too young to really get it and then stopped at about age 12. Recently, I've picked up a hobby of composing music digitally, which I am seriously enjoying.
