I've just read My Little Dashie.
I swear, I'm crying like a little baby over here.

Agreed, it was the first thing in a while that made my cry.

Cue Dsarker(IIRC) coming in here and stomping all over your emotions because he didn't think it was sad.

Also, Fniff, that's... that's quite something! Is it supposed to be a sort-of sequel to My Little Dashie? So, in your story, she does remember her dad? That could be... complicated. But also really awesome if done well!
Though I don't really like any of the main cast getting killed. I'd probably read it nonetheless.

Who says it has to be one of the main cast? I'm certain Dash has a few other friends.

Of course, brutally murdering some of the side characters would probably piss off even more people than the main 6.

Rainbow Dash awoke.

Not in the waking from sleep manner. More of the gaining sentience way. She felt like she had just transferred from one body to the next.

A body she did not want to be in.

It was a hospital room. Sterilized, private, just like those films on TV that she used to watch. They'd always put the dramatic hospital scenes in a private ward. There was a bed, above that was a window with daylight streaming in, and to the left was a nightstand with an unlit candle. Hanging upside down by a tied blanket above the bed was a pink pony (Like Rainbow Dash, just without the wings and pink) covered in blood. No, she wasn't simply covered. She had deep wounds all over her body. Her throat was savagely torn open, as well. No screams. No vocal cords. The pink pony's face was a fixed expression of utter fear.

Rainbow Dash shivered, and wondered what kind of psychopath could have done this.

Then she looked down at her hooves.

Blood. Dark, crimson, threatening. It almost grinned with malevolence. You did this. The blood plainly stated.

Dash's gaze went to the hung pony. She started to hyperventilate. Oh God. She couldn't remember anything about this pony or doing anything, except...

That was Pinkie.

Memories flooded back. Oh no, she wasn't just something dropped out of the sky. No, she used to be Rainbow Dash. A pony with dreams, ambition, personality, and a history. She had friends. This dead-eyed corpse frozen in fear used to be Pinkie Pie. Party pony, generally nice mare to be around.

And she murdered her in the most brutal way imaginable.

Two knocks.

"Hey, Dash? Pinkie? Are you okay in there?" A familiar voice. Applejack. Dash knew her. She didn't kill Applejack at least.

"Don't... open... busy." Was all that Dash could force out of her parched throat.

"Are you okay there?" Applejack said in a concerned tone of voice.

Dash loudly gasped. Panic struck her. She had no options. The blood would plainly expose her guilt, even if she had somehow tied up the body. No way of escape. Apart from...

The window. She could force her way through it. Dash took a deep breath and breathed through her nose. Right. That could be done. She flapped her wings and flew to the level of the window while hovering. She bucked the window, smashing it. She cringed.

Louder knocks.

"Rainbow Dash, what's going on in there?" A posh sounding voice asked. Rarity. Oh dear.

Rainbow Dash tried to jump out of the window, making herself small as possible. She succeeded, but a rogue piece of glass tore on her fore-leg as she jumped out. She bit her tongue trying not to scream, and landed with a fall onto the grass. There weren't many ponies around. Good.

The sound of a door being opened. A scream.

Dash sighed. Dad would not approve. She had a very long, not easy day ahead of her.

Oh hey, I've found yet another fanfic by Dsarker. Don't know if that's all there is. Haven't read it because the first comment to that story was:

All right, I gave it a shot and watched it. Sorry guys - it was nice, certainly not as bad as I'd originally thought it would be, but still not exactly my thing. Much thanks anyway, though. Now at least I won't look like quite so much of an idiot the next time somebody starts talking about it.

Which episode(s) did you watch?  I didn't really get into it in the two Nightmare Moon episodes honestly.  It took some time exploring the fandom in other ways (fanart and comics mostly) before I really began to appreciate the whole thing.

Of course, it's to be expected that not everyone will like it.  At least you can say you watched it and have some room to discuss it if someone pesters you about not loving it.

Nope, I'm most definitely not gonna read it. Worst thing that could happen would be me actually liking the story so far and wanting to continue reading it. I don't wanna risk that.
But definitely keep us updated on any progress, the Bay12 Anthology Of Pony is growing steadily.
