Yeah. The only stuff an EMP may damage is the laser. So basically once we have the EMP, we can use it disable the habitat we want to steal so that the guys in the other habitat can shoot us more easily? Yeah, great plan.

To clarify the EMP disables most electrical systems and old tech within a 20 meter radius, that includes spawners, consoles, drones, the laser, radars and there's also a good chance it'll become helpful in the future, I'd give more info but that'd ruin the plot. Obviously a flying fortress has some slightly less subtle advantages and disadvantages but hey it's up to you guys to decide.

OK guys, not official yet but...

http://www.pixelsgame.org/smf/index.php

Just working on it a bit but we can probably move the discussion there now :D I got a refund from the old hosting people, signed up with iPage instead and they are WAY easier to work with.

E: When this does become official you'll know it :)

Wow, I've missed a lot.  I've been busy playing terraria and various other games.  Terraria is very addictive.  As for our course of action, I say we should loot and salvage everything we can before we part ways with Machu Pichu.  Taking over the Abu Merci would be near impossible, but if we salvage enough, we may be able to convert the hope into a smaller airship.  Let's attempt to salvage whatever materials and weaponry we can from the AM, make the hope larger and upgrade it, then finally convert it into an airship and fly away.

As bunny said, you should turn HOPE into an airship.

But my say doesn't count. Dead men don't vote.

Ok, I've officially launched Pixels! now here's the website:

http://www.pixelsgame.org

It includes a main page, forum and chat, we also own the .net extension but that won't work fully until after new years. But yeah I'm really excited about this just wanted to tone it down a bit as I'll be posting this message on every pixels thread so sign up and go nuts, also if you would be so kind as to create a topic on other forums you have an account with to get more visitors coming in that'd hugely appreciated.

Heya, just wanted to say that Aklyon, Sheb and Comp are the only players not to have signed up for the pixels forum, I can understand why Comp hasn't as he's not been particularly active in this game though bearing in mind you two have both acknowledged the forum's existence in other threads I was just wondering where you were with it, I mean it'd be a huge let down to leave any of the players behind so if there's a reason for not doing so make sure to mention it and I'll try to fix it, also could you establish what I'm supposed to be doing for the next turn as you all still seem to be divided in opinion and without a leader. But yeah, moving the discussion over to the other forum would be good. I didn't pull of the launch terribly well I know and there should have been more games initially but either way this is something I've put a lot of work into and don't want to fall through...

Oh, you're going to move it to the other forum. Damn, I had hoped to be able to continue playing here.

It doesn't matter too much if it's moved to the other forum does it? It'd be nonsensical to continue it here with another forum surely? I was hoping for there to be more games going up within the first 24 hours (Ehndras isn't going to be around for a while, Aklyon I'm not sure about his game and there were a few more proposed in the pixels OOC) to make signing up more worthwhile but I'm sure it'll expand soon.

I'll poke in there eventually.
Rightho, I 'spose that'd fair enough... was mostly thinking about pixelic engines, or whether you were going to do another pixels game, but yeah - take your time if you want  :)

Feel free to copy my game over there if you want, but continuing it here is simpler, I'd think.

Well, it's mostly sheer laziness: don't want to check to websites daily if I can hang on in only one. Well, I got sign up to do then.

Whilst it likely would be simpler here for now, quite a lot simpler actually I'm thinking the main hurdle with making pixels into something worthwhile will be establishing a userbase and to do that it needs some content, I mean yeah it's pretty decent here but if this becomes a self-sustaining board like a smaller bay12 it'll be completely worth it, the same goes to Sheb and Edio.

I should also mention that the hosting people gives enough advertising credit to send 5,000 people to the site, if we can make it look good and make it seem as if there is an active community and say 2% of the people who visit the website sign up (not too optimistic bearing in mind they'd have to click an ad for it first) that's 100 users and from there something really good can be done I reckon.

In order to inform those too lazy to go to the other site, stimulate some discussion, and to make this obvious bump slightly less useless, I'll just post this, a quote from myself.

To answer your questions, Ashton, from the other forum, I think that the majority is in favor of my plan, and hopefully by extension me as leader, of asking Mason for as much metal as possible to put the hope back together and perhaps some other objects in recompense for our smashed up habitat and service. Additionally, we are to try to get Hope back on the ground and repairing it with the metal Mason will hopefully give us.

As for the reason I have the majority, I do believe Bunny agrees with my plan, and adwarf has given his approval of me on Bay12, with only Edio wanting to steal the airship, which is Sheb's campaign platform. Zako choose a third party, which doesn't exist, but I personally think he leans more pro-areyoua than pro-Sheb.
