So, let's solve those problems.
1) Figthing an hostile fleet of blimpThe MP got 6 armed blimps, similar to the
Jenny Haniver. At least two of those will be staffed by us. That means they got 4 blimps against our 3, plus the AM. We can definitely kick their ass, especially if we used surprise. We may get some planes/blimp out of the AM as well.
2) Taking over the fortressTaking AM over is what Pyro, Sgt Mason and the
God
Mother want us to do. The current plan is to make a diversion on the deck while a commando storm the bridge and force their surrender. We're going to take that ship or die trying, this we agree on, what we're discussing here is what to do with our prize.
3) Controlling the Airfortress with 10 7 people.When you look at the AM, you can actually see 3 Jenny-class blimp and what should be 3 pixels. That gives you a sense of scale.
If you exclude the flight deck, the AM is about half the size of the MP. How many people would we need to run that? A mechanic, a pilot/captain, 2-3 gunners, 1 person to operate other systems... Total: 5-6 persons. That leaves us 2 people to run blimp/planes. Of course, that's the bare minimum. We wouldn't be able to make repair, man all the guns, use our other blimps... That's where Edio's solution comes in.
As far as we know, the AM will be run in the same way the MP was. An elite ruling a people. We may perfectly well get some of them to join us. Hell, even some of the MP soldiers could join. If we are ever to grow in power beyong our current level, we need underlings.
So yeah, I'd like our people in the MP blimps to chat with the MP men and see if some of them would join.EDIT: I totally forgot the best point:
