After all, they seem to be protective of Machu Pichu so far.

Do we know if the Sky Fortress people aren't the ones out to kill us, and the MPians?
Well you've got Jack's word and a radio recording of the same guy (though it included another unrecognized voice), and that co-indices with Abu Merci reporting bandits conglomerating in the north, also whoever is controlling the drone's seems fairly convinced of it so there's your evidence and you can make a call on it

Yes, but remember the situation:

  • Our habitat cannot fly.
  • We are in Machu's Habitat Bay.
  • Said trigger-happy pixel is trigger-happy.
  • Abu is currently flying.
  • Abu is unlikely to land for us to board.
  • Abu is likely to shoot down our armed! blimp if we approach.

We will help him get us out of their hangar bay, then. Something along the lines of our weapons being useless inside MP, and then driving off to scout out where our better ally is (but not calling AM that to him, callnig it 'the enemy', or possibly 'The ullltimate eviiiil!' if we're going to be overly dramatic about it.)

We will also wave a neutral flag of some sort from the Jenny to make sure its not shot down if we send it towards AM.

I say we temporarily help MP, for something like one battle or whatever, then go off on our own. Before we do so, we all need to get guns somehow. At least have the weapons squad fully armed. We can get two rifles at the moment, which I reckon would be a good investment.

You do know that Abu is almost directly above Machu, right, Aklyon?

Zako's plan is best, Help once, but leave afterwards. If we were to come back at any point, let's do it in a habitat just as large or larger than them.

So, my action is now:
Kick one of the short-circuiting drones.

"Couldn't of gotten here a little sooner, could ya? Had to take your time and let one of my mates be killed in cold blood. If you were here to come and stop the good sargent anyways, seems that way from the fact you didn't shoot us all. I hope whoever is controlling you is faster next time."

"Speaking of the Sargent, or is he the Governor now that he's assumed control, I think we should do this one mission with him, then go our separate ways."

"I'll go and inform him of our decision. In the meantime, get as many weapons as we need, the heaviest possible to buy. Bill, I want that drill research done as soon as possible, I have an idea about how to use it when fighting Abu Merci."

I don't think we should trust anyone just help MP out, so we can get some good gear, and then high tail it out of PixItaly, so Abu Merci doesn't get the smart idea of chasing us down which they will do anyway since we told other people about the spawners which means they will now hunt us to the ends of PixItaly. Maybe further, but if we can get over the PixAlps I don't think they will be willing to follow us.

Abu merci thing sounds dangerous, maybe one of you who are an engineer could hot-wire a turret or something for when you leave mp so you don't get blown up.

Actually, given our position, we're perfectly disposed to take over MP with the Sky Fortress' help.

-We should convince the Sergeant to give us weapons. Officially to fight against the Sky Fortress

-We should get the drones' gun. Mount a couple on the Jenny, others on fixed position inside the Hope. Having some kind of light, land vehicle would be great.

-It's fairly evident the only way is to board them with airships. We should ask the Sergeant to co-lead an assault on the Sky Fortress with us on the Jenny. Have him load as many pixels on his airships as he can, in preparation for a messy boarding action.

-When the first airships will get in range of the Sky Fortress' weapons, the Jenny, which will be near the end of the air group, will lower the MP flag, raise the AM one and open fire on all the airships that can target us (since all the weapons are forward-mounted, the other airships will have to turn to get us, and will be distracted by AM anyway.

-While we down the MP's leader and many of their armed men, the rest of our men, equipped with weapons and having taken strategic position, will take over the MP, disarm its crew and lock them in the hangar, and then raise the Hope and AM flags.

That way, we get good relations with the AM and control of the MP.

I seriously dout that we can take over MP. There is just too many people, and too few of us. I disagree with fighting against MP, but I shall personally get to work on making some turrets for Hope from those drones.

Dismantle the drones and mount guns on the Hope, covering both the air and the front.

You should mount them on the Jenny. Whether we fight against the MP or the AM, we'll need them there.

And anyway, we can do it. At least 24 of them would be up in the airships, including their leadership. There will be 10 of us and we can count on surprise and heavy weapons. We'll have help from the AM as well. With strategical positioning, 2 people can block off the whole farms/living quarter area using that turret on the flight deck. If we convince them to position most of their soldier there (to shoot at the AM) it means we only have to deal with mechanics down here. Again, surprise+heavy weapons= win.

We can also convince Sergeant Mason to send his ground ships away. That's even less of them.
