If you remember I said you wouldn't be able to claim a pixel until the new website is ready, in that same post I also said if you didn't read it carefully or displayed ignorance of it I said I'd have to re-consider letting you play.

I'll help adwarf repair the engines to help speed it up.

Now that we're back here, Let's continue work on that armor. The drill can wait until that's done, as with the new armor we may as well strip Hope apart to rebuild it entirely out of the better stuff.

Also, Do contest that a bit more than the tracks and our old wheel should be ours, we did have prior claim. And buying the MG is a very good idea.

Help adwarf.

Why not. I'm the one who's got to drive the thing. Er, I mean, I'm not the driver...

I say get the machine gun, and buy as much metal as we can and take apart blue's tracks so we can get back our old chassis and perhaps put some kind of shield in front of our chassis so the same thing doesn't happen again. Also, I propose that we change our doctrine as far as where to shoot. It would've been a better move if we would have waited for them to turn around and then hit them in the gun rather than a very ineffective shot to the back, so we should just reserve firing the harpoon until we get a direct shot at a major weapon, and just send in the marines (unclaimed people) in via airship to kill the rest of them.

No, get rid of the old chassis for the tracks, much more durable.

We could do that, but it would most likely take days to refit it for use on Hope

They're also much slower, and how can we hunt down the remaining bandits if we can't even catch them? If we just build a shield in front of them, we should be fine, as long as its not too heavy.

We're practically rebuilding Hope from the ground up anyways once I get this new armor ready for production.

How much slower? None, according to Ash:

Same speed but use twice as much fuel.
Just told me over Skype. With that fuel press on board, this is not a problem.

I won't argue with the GM, but I do recall someone saying that they were faster.

Even so, they're double the fuel. Are you going to ignore that point? We can't even grow enough food right now for everyone if we're all aboard much less afford to use double the fuel. Admittedly, we could leave people behind, but how many people can we afford to not take into combat?

Me and the other scientists, for one.

The MP guard, if whoever's controlling him right now switches away from him to a permanent Hope crew member.

Besides, we aren't going anywhere for a while anyways, but we're still growing food. And the farms can be expanded. And we could make another press if we had to.

They could even be used on the offensive on smaller habitats or individuals outside of habitats. They can go across uneven terrain better (Guess why we invented them!) we could even go up very steep or even icy inclines if we attach spikes to them.

My logic here says they're better.

Your right, I remember at some point I said wheels would be faster but treads would be more durable. But anyway I just figured I'd change it too worse fuel efficiency and just say you'd get half as much speed if you were to put the same amount of fuel in them but just because that might not be fun from a gameplay point of view I figured you could scale up the ammount of power you put into them up to the same amount of wheels. But anyway it probably comes down to areyoua because of his position as leader though of course you guys can try to remove him from power and install a new leader.

It seems like it's:

Less chance of getting wrecked again + Other assorted bonuses

VS.

Not having to expand the Farms a little or increase farm productivity + Increased chance of being wrecked again (That wheel is HOLLOW!)

If we get wrecked again, we won't get much salvage again. Think about it, mate. It just makes more sense.
