I doubt they'll ignite the fuel here with just machinegun fire, that explosion was because those guys had explosive rounds from Old Tech scavenging. With enough friction though...

The merchant has the Tri-Barreled rifle and it's on sale 60 coins, but bear in mind he gave you 52 coins worth of resources to make it with (3 rifles and some scraps) And bloody 'eck, this gonna be a big combat scene

Also, ask him if he would like to be my lab assistant on Hope. (Locks him as a free player choice(can still be taken, but I would like to know)/takes suggestions from me, the other scientists with my permission.)(After all, where in the rules does it say we can't have an NPC aboard?)

I came up with NPCs in Pixel Station, and we use 'em here now. We all keep trading great ideas and its awesome how we can work together like that!

Btw, I designed a few weapons and a basic rocket.

A few more designs I came up with, on that one original image. Out of curiosity, look at the living space module on the bottom. Do you prefer the darker or lighter background color? I'm not sure which shade of gray/silver to use for the metallic background...

The blue's approach whilst continuing to fire as Hope reverses dislodging the chain, Geen guides it back into the barrel whilst Akylon and Bunny call down to Areyou "Left a bit, NO! Too much! Right a bit... perfect!" for some reason they chose somebody in charge of agriculture to control the main gun and nobody thought to use their hand-radios. In the meantime Sayaks, Ehndras and Kirby are trying to land on the enemy habitat.

Just before contact occurs Areyoua deftly steers around the blues, the turret swings around and fires the chain at the enemies wheels with a perfect shot disabling them from moving, not seconds afterwards the engine stalls and as Hope comes to a rest it's chassis collapses. The three boarders drill into the habitat and kill the people inside whilst the engineers flee, chasing them would have no purpose.

Repairing Hope without a mechanic will take 8 metal and 4 pixels 10 days, that doesn't even include salvage time, the chance of being pestered is extremely high and so a quick repair followed by towing or something similar is recommended, somebody suggests sending the Jenny Haniver to pick up Adwarf and bring him back though the aircraft doesn't have enough fuel capacity for the journey. After the dust settle Ehndras remarks "Damn it! I'm thankful for the job and all, but I don't appreciate being sent into combat barely prepared just so we can scavenge scrap metal to line the Governor's pockets with gold. I don't like that guy, he's always seemed shady to me."

Meanwhile in Machu Pichu Bill agrees to be Pyrodesu's lab assistant and they complete a hand-held mineral scanner before dark, pretty good progress. Adwarf comes up with a design for a bazooka and says he'll make one for 85 coins however the merchant turns him down, however he does offer him a loan 30 coins, 40 coins are to be repaid within 7 days, the penalty for not doing so is death, creating the bazooka requires 2 metal for the core components and each piece of ammo requires 0.5 fuel and 0.5 metal.

Tell Bill that we need to take a couple of those small shuttle habitats, Hope is in a spot of trouble. I'll pilot one with Bill, Adwarf can take another if they'll allow us to take another. And request an escort of a single armed blimp.

Formulate ideas for researching metal foam armor with Bill. Said armor is lighter than regular armor, and is very good at stopping small-arms fire, but will do only a little more than plate against Habitat-class weapons. It is also produced at two units per unit of metal, but you need to use extra fuel in an engine to be able to produce it. Also, this invention is to be kept secret from the general public. We need to hold the armor advantage, not even MP can have it!
