I appear not to be mentioned on this turn, unless I missed something.  For the weapon, I vote harpoon.
Opps, got you mixed up with Geen because you had similar actions, just wrote in you were in the same target practice demonstration after not being allowed to see the guns

Man, this is getting a lot of spin-offs.  I wonder if there will be any more?
I was thinking the same, you know it's pretty cool when loads of people start making games based on your game  :D maybe if the idea catches on there could be a dedicated pixels forum?

Putting together notes today so there might or might not be an update, probably will though...

Considering how I can think of at least 4-5 Pixels games, and there will definitely be more springing up, I think that's the best forum idea we've ever had. o_O Smalls was fine and all, but there was only 1 Smalls game.

Pixels? Its catching like wildfire :)

Yeah, but You Are A isn't organized, its just a genre. Pixels, since we're integrating our artwork and ideas, is more than just random games with the same idea, its an organized theme-based game.

Btw, I'll be posting my solar modules soon. I can't get a damn good shape for the actual central array though, the thing that stores the energy >:(

Well I'd probably want there to be 6-8 pixels games all following the same kind of structure first, might do a collective OOC thread in the mean-time but how does using http://www.simplemachines.org/ (same as bay12) on http://www.brainhost.com/free-hosting/ sound? Looking through reviews of brainhost I couldn't find a catch and the advertising credit does sound good, just wondering whether I'd be able just to chuck the forum straight onto it and go. It seems to be the free hosting lasts one year in celebration of Prince Harry marrying, or was it William? I think Korrine said it was the hot one that got married though I never pay enough attention to the royal family to know which one is hotter than the other anyway, ah shucks.

May as well use the same as Bay12. :)

They don't necessarily have to be the same theme, but since all our games are scifi-ish, we can share images. Like, you guys can even recyle my solar panel images, and certain other things like guns, ships, etc.

HEY. How about this. Since I don't know SH*T about Mortal Machines, how about we put it as we all split after Earth went to shyte following nuclear war? We're years in the future from today, and you guys are still on Earth while I'm in space. Of course, my guys are at technically a huge advantage, but we're stuck fighting off aliens and robots and such while you all are having fun in the desert with bandits and such >_>

Perhaps two separate deserts on Earth, if you want to go so far as to designate specific places, like Pixitaly. ;)

Umm... well I wouldn't go through the effort of connecting it up like that firstly because it doesn't make sense, I'm guessing some people will want to do medieval pixels for instance. Secondly I reckon if Pixels is going to expand in the way it is it's less about the world in which everyone plays but the way the game itself has been designed so all the games essentially run on the same rules and look the same, that sorta stuff. The notes I'm putting together are mostly targeted at people who want to create their own game using the same platform and for people who want to design stuff for it.

E: Oh and just 'cos I put up a map with Italy on it your not confined there at all, you can go anywhere that could feasibly be accessed.

I wouldn't connect it like that too, but I'd love little easter eggs here and there, Fallout style, like hearing a legend about some random epic battle they had in another Pixels game. :) The actual games will NEVER meet up, and for that purpose we should put them on opposite sides of the world, if on Earth at all. BUT, the idea of walking into a town and hearing "I've heard you can still find functional Old Tech hidden all over the world. Supposedly there's a buried air base around here somewhere. I think its just your usual baseless rumour, or someone would have found it by now." sort of !!HINT!! system where the GMs can either point us in interesting plot direction or casually hint at other games for fun and free advertisement.

"They say that when the war broke out, a few Pixels were still on the Hyperion Space Station. I doubt they're still alive, though. After all, they would have starved years ago." As a hint to my game, where the space station is called Hyperion :)

Hmm... true true, subtle hints here and there, sounds good  :D Like a Pokeball showing up in some random game by Nintendo that doesn't have anything to do with Pokemon, I'll go for that  :D

:D

Alright! I'm currently designing the gun range/training area of the space station. Just finished cleaning the kitchen, living room, dining room, and my room, while my cousin cleans the bathroom and my girl mops and sweeps, so its time for me to take a break and finish this training room design. :)

Here's the list of essentials I could think of so far. If anyone comes up with other ideas for modules and rooms, since I KNOW I'm missing some important ones, let me know via PM.

--- --- ---
Basic Habitation Module - 20 Units - DONE
Basic Docking Station - 1 Vehicle - Unarmored Slot
Tiny Hangar - 1 Small Vehicle - Armored Slot
Basic Life Support - 20 Organisms
Basic Cargo Deck - 100 Units of Cargo
Basic Solar Array - ???
Central Command Center - 5 Command Units: One per Vehicle/Squad deployed
Hydroponics Bay - Green - 10 Units of Food
Bridge -
Fusion Engine - Purple
Fuel Lines - Brown

--- --- ---

Of course, I'm pretty sure we need some sort of mechanical station, at least a basic general science lab, a virology station though that can come later, a mining depot for asteroid/comet mining gear, defensive weapons, and of course I'm going to need to design the ships themselves.

So much work, but its SO FUN :D

If you want a free forum, I could whip on up on Forumotion if need be. Can't remember the name of what they use, but it's flexible.

So hang back with me.

(Also, as part of my action - put the pistol back. I have no need of it.)
