Uh, why? If you're going habiciding, shouldn't you be killing the people and not the engine that we're going to need?
::) You actually think we can take out everyone in the habitat. That isn't the plan, the plan is to steal some of their gear, a habitat shuttle or two, as well as two of three of their blimps.

Then shouldn't you be destroying their engine permanently so they can't get revenge?

He has a point, and a tactically valid one at that. Those who can't move, can't follow.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

I said:
I'll take Mr. Engineer with me to the engine room to figure out how to disable it. Temporarily. I want this thing intact, but blowing the engine without blowing the hab leaves the hab stuck... Although...

Actually, kill the engine. Not blow, kill! As in permanent shutdown, minus habitat-destroying explosion!

And I'll take a pistol, concealed in my duster/lab coat/whatever the hell I have in the way of clothing!

We need the Chief Engineer, then. i doubt any of the rest of us can actually non-explosively shut the engine down entierly.

I think I can take bits of it out, and disable it until they fix the parts, but unless you guys can get me the bridge I won't have a way to just shut it down without permanent damage.

[CENSORED] YOU! I'm the effing R&D, not a slacker! Anyways, I'll try to scout out their internal defense. (aka guard positions, interior turrets and the like.

[REDACTED] YOU! I'm the first [REDACTED] R&D! I claimed that position First! If you're R&D, then you're under me! And I wasn't talking to you anyways! I was talking to ADWARF!

AND I WASN'T TALKING TO YOU EITHER! YOU DO SCIENCE, NOT DEVELOPMENT AND CRAP! Now look at me still talking when there's science to do...

Why indeed you did! Doesn't really matter though because my post immediately followed...
Go with Pyro, and see if I can temporarily shut the engine down.

CAPSLOCK IS NOT THE ANSWER! Besides, I did also take R&D.

(By science I meant !!SCIENCE!! of new weaponry. Which is better, a couple of handheld harpoon guns or a mounted harpoon cannon emplacement that can pull other habitats closer? Also, technician, for building things small-scale.)

Combined, basically the same as R&D.

Can you trio of idiots just settle for the "Research & Development" Sector. You can all be in the R&D sector and work different jobs, you know. Kinda SS13-ish. We need medical also, btw. We need a M.D./Surgeon, we need an Ordinance Master (Explosives), a Siege Engineer (for BIG gun ideas), a Personnel Weapons Master(for OUR guns and grenades), Master Architect (Someone who can think up building ideas and/or work them out to show, which I can do and its my job already ;) ), Medical Doctor/Master Interrogator (for healing, surgery, and morbid interroga friendly introductions to captu misplaced visitors.), and more.

Cmon guys, lets be organized. :) If the jobs don't work, make a job SYSTEM so the thread doesn't just sound like a bunch of 15 year olds bickering over spilled coke. (Then again, I kicked someone's ass in high school for spilling my drink, so that might not be a good idea >_>)

Turn 11

OK... I somehow managed to do the writing for this four separate times and then delete it every single time - no lies, I think this computer became possessed and a reminder to all if you could contribute any artwork that would be usable in-game such as weapons, habitats, static buildings or whatever I'd be a very happy person. I'll probs try to fall into a pattern of updating once per day in the evening, also has anyone spotted any of the easter eggs I've hidden?

Date: 19th January 2786 8 PM

As the shuttle habitat goes enters Machu Pichu the massive blast doors slam shut in front of Hope, after several hours of awkward waiting Ehndras and Sayaks figure it'd be a good idea to check out the aircraft hangar with the Jenny Haniver, as they do however an angry pixel starts shouting at them from what appears to be the rear observation point

"Return to your habitat now or I'll be forced to fire, this area requires level 2 clearance, somebody will let you in soon"

You decide it's probably a good idea to return, what probably wasn't such a good idea was for Ehndras to immediately after having raised the security level to decide to swap a pistol and 2 coins for a rifle, as a result of this the wheels of habitat hope have been clamped and a guard has been assigned to Ehndras, apparently the clamps will be taken of when you leave and the keys for them are currently being stored in the bridge

Kirby and Pyrodesu have a slightly better day and after Pyro mentions he's part of Hope's research and development team to an engineer they are offered a tour of the engine room "We've tuned her pretty damn close to perfection you know, it's a magnificent beast but completely unbreakable! You see there's a fail-safe mechanism which causes the engine to go through a 24 hour restart procedure when one mis-aligns the controls, the only downside to this is the power for all systems turns of during this time, only happened once mind and that was twenty years ago!"

Looking up you can see the fuel injectors, you reckon maybe half a dozen well placed shots there could physically disable the engine, you also notice the fuel appears to be burning steadily and efficiently but also at a very slow rate, below you can see a long range scanner, escaping might be hard although Pyro makes sure to ask them about it (mineral scanner research 25% done)

Bunny heads to the governors room however it appears Areyoua is already there, instead he heads to the communal area where Sayaks and Adwarf (who seems to have acquired a fancy red feather hat) are, apparently they were asking residents about security or something though they seem more intent on getting down on the dance floor. It's only 8 o'clock but already Bunny has taken over the DJ decks, definitely going to be a hangover for the three of you in the morning.

Geen however takes his security scouting a bit more seriously and finds the following information:

Spoiler: Geen's investigation (click to show/hide)

Areyoua walks into the governors suite who begins talking

"Hmm, good work on escorting that shuttle, you know we could use a little muscle in the field. It's all very well having big guns here but what I really want, what Machu Pichu needs is to have men like yourself in the field. Tell you what, if you have anything such scarcium to trade I'm sure in return we could outfit your habitat with the weaponry you'd require for working with us, how does that sound then? A military shuttle? If you agree your first assignment leaves in 7 days time to clear out some of the bandits west of here - where you came from."

You mention you have a piece of raw scarcium in holding as well as several spawners and the governor snaps his neck twists to face you once more "That's the other thing, don't tell them about the spawners or I'll rip your bloody tongue out and kill you, letting them see is fine just don't explain what they are, so do we have a deal?"

The others help out with investigating Machu Pichu, talk a bit about what they should do and generally mill around

Tensions between the residents of Hope continue to rise, it's becoming a serious risk that one of the pixels may kill another and/or destroy the others spawner in an uncontrolled fit of rage if they do not learn to co-operate soon ((proposed system in player list))

We might as well be diplomatic now, unless you people have a plan for smashing the clamps open.
