I suggest trying to assimilate the rolling town to the WSW. We probably won't get there in just one day if they run away, which gives us time to plan something on the way rather than simply wasting time thinking in place.

How much metal would we need for a harpoon or something similar to pierce our foes with?
Hand-held ones? I'd probably say about 1 metal makes 2
For a large attachment depending on it size anywhere between 4 and 20 I suppose.

Also, more general questions: can we take over and/or eat other moving settlements or raid the few static settlements, or are we more like a scavenger-ish kind of place right now? Not sure how much your idea is using from the ME quartet.

You could do either, it's just a case of having the facilities to do so, at the moment you couldn't "swallow" a town although if you were intelligent, yes - you could capture it. In terms of static settlements, you will probably encounter few if any permanent towns unless you journey quite a way; but you will find a fair few temporary sites, markets and gatherings of several towns for instance. Oh, yes, and expect stalkers to make a few appearances  :P

If no one objects, and it's actually possible, I'll take the airplane in a fly-by of the moving settlement to the WSW to see what kind of weapons they have.

On another note, anyone willing to lead?

Look into increasing food production.

I'll investigate the blimp and figure out how to fly it.  I vote that we go after the smaller habitat.  Hopefully we can loot some metal from them.
FAKEEDIT:DARN NINJAS!  I'll look around the habitat for anything useful then.
REALEDIT: I'll claim the extra harpoon Aklyon makes too.

Hmm..

I'll lead the fighters, make at least 1 metal worth of harpoons, and suggest moving towards the town WSW of us if they aren't too armed.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

Turn 2

Date: 2nd January 2786 11:00 AM

You start to pursue the small town

Ultra Valican tends to the farms and looks for a way to improve them, (expanding the farm will cost 1 metal and increase food production by 1)

Sinpwn and Sayaks create harpoons

Bunny and the others explore the habitat though after nothing much happening go to the roof and talk together, you realize living space seems very limited here

Hmm, harpoons vs hand guns... Are the harpoons good enough to pierce anywhere, or would we have to go down into their small place and attack them? I don't think we could use them as any decent shield, and they have the range advantage.

I think it would be safe to assume from the box-like shape of the small town that it lacks any weapons capable of punching a hole in our town, but they do have guns. I suppose we could try throwing harpoons at them from the airship, but that seems risky.

Apparently, no one wants to take charge, so does anyone want to object to me taking the lead in navigating?

Well, I said I'd lead the fighting, but if you think you can navigate better, go ahead.

Well I guess harpoons would have the advantage in the open but inside, probably not so much. And when I say hand guns I'm talking old-timey rifles and flintlock pistols, oh and no the harpoons won't kill an enemy inside the town if your shooting from outside but you might damage the exterior a 'lil/get a grip to jump across

I'd meant can we make a hole in the town with the harpoons and surprise attack them, or if the town is too durable for that.

Oh right... umm how about two people shoot harpoons into it then attach them to the floor, then drive your town the opposite way? I'd roll a dice to see if it'd work.
