Rename Village X to Gregminster.
Rename Warrior in Gregminster to 1st Gregminster Infatry.

Also, Poll added.

Orders for the Republic:

  • Rename Village X to Mathematica
  • Rename Warriors to Alpha Squad
  • Invest 4 production into fortifications

I also have a few questions Azkanan:
  • to what accuracy are we tracking population?
  • what are the effects of being highly religious?
  • does being in a village have any defensive bonuses regardless of fortification level?

  • Generally, only whole numbers. The decimals are only for me and tracking.
  • Divinity gives you favour with the gods. ie, Luck.
  • Not without any defensive constructions, no.

Invest one production into another warrior unit.

You can only spend in bulk on new units, not invest.


I wasn't coimplaining about that tiny bit of river not counting as a river tile, I was complaining about Azkanan forgetting to reduce his own river production and questioning the very rare river/forest tiles giving twice as much production as other tiles.

Yeah, my Village is the example one, so I hadn't touched it since I first made it. Forgot about the food bump :P.

Food is apparently pretty sucky. Settlers only take pop, right?

new units cost food. I am considering adding a maintenance requirement for food, to limit army sizes, too. Otherwise you've got a snowball effect.

Due to a majority vote, i'm going to put it through as a Yes.

Rule changes
- Trade Route costs are now 25 per partner, rather than 50.
- A "Tech Point" is achieved when you reach 100% in the related research threshold.
- Research Thresholds increase with increased levels.
- When you reach a new hundred in Culture, you can choose which tile to "Spread" your borders across, reaping the benefits of that tile. You can spread over sea tiles, too.
- Units now consume food according to (Attack + Defence + Movement) /3.
- Growth % in population only counts per 10 population.

(ie a warrior (1/1/1) would consume 1 Food.)
(ie, 3/2/3 would consume 2.6 Food... This is rounded to the nearest whole number of 3 food.)

All players can change their focus on the next turn for free, if they wish to. This freebie only counts for next turn.

Culture: Increases culture per turn in all villages.
Science: Technological breakthroughs.
Military: Better/new military.
Naval: Better/new naval units.
Religion: Better luck in all things.
Government: New Government forms. Different government forms have different affects on research, infrastructure and food/resource production.
