Great War, Year 1211: The nation which your people most feared, the Northern Empire, finally launched an attack on the Coalition, a group of the last fifteen nations that remained outside of the Northern Empire's control. For weeks the fighting continued non-stop with no end in sight for this long war, and as each day dragged on the casualties for both sides rose extremely high until finally the Coalition surrendered in the hopes of saving its people from even more death. The leaders of the Coalition, and the Coalition Army were rounded up, and publicly executed in-front of thousands of people in order to show that the Northern Empire would not tolerate resistance. And for the most part it worked many people just turned their heads as people were beaten in the streets by the Imperials, or as they burned down the house of a neighbor who refused to give up their child for training in the army.

Current, Year 1247: Nearly 40 years after the Great War certain forces are stirring, and preparing for the chance to free themselves from the Empire's grasp. And a very unique being finally comes into existence on this day, and that is you. Little do you know it is you who will lead the rebellion, and it is you who will free these people from oppression.

Elf - Elves are more agile, and graceful than many of the other beings that inhabit this world, but they are rare in the Empire, and are sought after by the Imperials for their unique ability with both Magic, and Bow. The majority of their kind find their home in the Great Forest, and here they have strength in their numbers, and the Empire dares not strike for they fear the Elves will return their attack ten fold, and deal them a great blow.
Dwarf - Dwarves are stronger, and tougher than any other race, and have an inherit knack for smithing, mining, and the many things that lie beneath the ground. Most of them live in their cluster of Mountainhomes that lie deep in the Mountains of Kings, where they are safe behind their massive stone gates, and powerful cannons which protect from all their threats.

1.) This will be a suggestion game where you will play the leader of a Rebellion for the freedom of your people, or whatever other goal you wish to claim as yours.
2.) We will start at your birth where you will choose your name, gender, etc.; and from their we will work our way up slowly through your childhood (Which will decide your stats, and certain bits of starting gear, facilities, and followers). Once you are an adult is when you the main amount of your troop gathering, and battles will occur. During which you will try to accomplish your goal (Decided at the end of your childhood phase) by which ever means you see fit.
Side Note: You will fail your Goal if you Die of course, but depending on the goal you set their will be other ways to fail.
3.) Your Race, and Birth Sign will affect your character, but you will not know in what way they will do, so until later. (Race is set, but you can change your Birth Sign at the end of the Childhood phase.)

Race: Afari Ulum Nomad- The Afari are a southern-born cousins to the elves of the Empire. They are of darker skin but have peculiar eyes that glow slightly. They are a nomadic people of craftsmen and warriors, always on the move. Some however were forced by the empire to remain in Imperial grounds, to become subjects forever more...These Afari were called Ulum, meaning imprisoned. They have much of the agility of elves, but are not incredibly skilled in the arts of magic and archery. Instead they prefer the way of spears and crafting; especially glass. They often ally themselves with djinn, who make up for the Afari's lack of true magic.

Race: Dark Born
No race is completely loyal, so it should have been suspected that some demons would grow tired of their masters and wish to seek life elsewhere. No one remembers exactly how it happened, but far in the past a large group of demons broke away from the rest. They went their seperate ways, creating small cities in remote and inhospitable locations that were linked together with what were called Hellgates. Over millenia, the Dark born had forged a strong trade alliance with the dwarves, but it was still incredibly rare to see them outside their cities.
The Dark Born look mostly humanoid, with light gray skin, black, white or gray hair and vertically slanted glowing red eyes. Each Dark Born has a vestigial remnant of their demonic nature, often called a mark. These things can be anything from scales, to wings, to third eyes. Babies born with three marks are rare, with it often being seen as a sign of great things to come. Anyone with two marks dies during or shortly after birth for an unknown reason.

(I hope that could be considered short. I understand if you need to rewrite or remove anything if it clashes with already laid out backstory.)

The Fjordmen are stereotypical 'nordic' humans. All men have long braided beards and die their hair blonde if they are not born with it already. The women are renowned for their beauty. They are adapted to the cold northern landscape and their economy relies heavily on fishing and trade.

Race: Drakken
The dragon-kin Humans, or "Drakken" as they're colloquially known, are a race that supposedly split off from humans in ages past, twisted by a dark ritual consumption of the blood of dragons to gain their magic strength and fire breath. The truth, it is suspected, is far less dramatic (the actual cause of the Drakken's state is proximity to a fire-abundant ley line imparting them with some of its magic - the same source as the mutations of the fire wyvern family of dragon-Kin - due to generations of exposure), but the similarities do exist. Drakken stand around seven feet tall and possess prodigious strength, hardened skin, fire breath, and unusually angular but distinctly human facial features. Their lifespans are often shortened by their body's inability to handle such potent magic. Their dark hair and mid-toned skin are hereditary but completely unrelated to their status as dragon-kin. They originate from a chain of magic-and-volcano-blasted mountains nominally conquered by the Northern Empire on principal despite lacking just about anything of interest to the Empire.
