Starting Planet/Asteroid: Venus

Fleet Focus: The fleet will compose of mostly super-heavy mega-freighters/tankers/terraformers (I plan on capitalising on the fuel, terraforming and infastructure market for out-world colonization), with any armed forces comprising of meson/micro/laser gunboats to avoid damage to goods shipped.

History: Being one of the oldest corporations present on Earth, having sprung up from the oil and blood drenched deserts of the Middle East, Distributed Logistics Inc. was built up on the back of liquid gold and following the breakthrough of NT technology, the transportation of the new fuels produced by sorium and later on, the movement of infastructure for outer-world colonies. Due to this transport of infastructure, the company was able to secure a position on the planet of Venus

The board of directors, despite the long period of time it has survived for, still consists of mostly people of Arabic decent. Whilst this has proven to ensure the security of the companys survival, it has also made it hard for the company to divert from its current operations to experiment in new frontiers, meaning development inside the corporate hierarchy and policy change to take far longer then expected.
