Here is my idea, let's see if anyone jump along in team, or I'll just nag somebody to let me in.

The  Parsec Delivery and Support was born after the first wave of initial colonization, where the system economy crunch put strains on government agencies budgets. The army quickly externalized their support and logistic branch, and for a while the PDS was extremely profitable and outgrew its client. Focusing on other clients with its new found richness, the company started to fail some army contracts, opening up the side for the creation of a parallel internal logistic branch within the army.

From there it started losing lot of the army contracts, due internal power struggles of the newly founded army branch against the external contractor. With the cash crunch from the sudden cancellation of most of the army contracts, the fleet operation costs quickly became out of control, most of the operational asset were sold to reduce running costs and only the smaller, most profitable operation remained under the control of the original PDS company.

Now a former shell of what it once was, the Parsec Delivery and Support is looking for new opportunities from other corporations and commercial venues.

I'd just need some tuning on the starting assets, from the starting post it seems that a corporation has quite a lot of stuff to purchase.

F) Sign-Up Sheet

Quite interested in this. Not done reading anything but using this as a placeholder so that people know I'M IN.

Also I'm a newbie.

Edit: Which means that I'm definitely not going to be doing this by myself.

Although I have pretty advanced basic grips on the game, delve deeper than level 5 and *poof*.

I suppose I'll hop on with LoSboccacc or RedKing, if they don't mind?

Let's do this.

F) Sign-Up Sheet
Corporation Name: Kosmos Aerospace Group
CEO Name: Alexander Smolianov
Corporation Type: Planetary
IC Breakdown: 10 labs (on Ganymede), 160 mines, 40 refineries, 100 construction facilities
Starting Planet/Asteroid: Ganymede
Fleet Focus: Small railgun armed ships (about 4,000 tons) average, light-moderate armor, and no emphasis on fuel efficiency. Also, a few tankers, as I plan on getting into the fuel-selling business.
History: Just as in other nations, corporations in the Russian Federation continued to grow in power during the early 20th century. Large corporations, especially fuel suppliers and arms manufacturers continued to build their influence, until eventually the government and corporations became one in all but name. By the beginning of the trans-newtonian era, Kosmos Aerospace Group had established itself as the dominant corporation in the area of the Russia and former Soviet States, mainly through it's blatant disregard of safety and environmental issues in the pursuit of profit.
Other: I'm open to teaming up with just about anyone, and I'm fairly competent at aurora.

Basically, yes, that's what I'm trying to go for. Although, since I'm an American, I have no firsthand knowledge of their activities, so my perception of them is filtered through horrible cultural biases. Should still be fun, though.

So, who would be willing to take me under their wing?

Actually, that doesn't really fit in this context... perhaps corporate wing? I'm not really sure.

I'm game, if you're willing to callously disregard any and all safety and humanitarian concerns.

I could probably come up with a basis for a corporation but would probably be better off joining someone elses ideas.  How many sides are you hoping for to start by chance?

I suppose I could join a team. Though I suck at designing ships, nor have I played Aurora in a while. But if we need a slot to be filled 'just cause', then I am your man!  8)

Indeed.

Don't count on me for TOO much, though. I can help a lot, but I don't know much about combat. I do know 'the basics', but I've never been in actual combat or anything.

Yet.

I'm good with building, exploration, and ship design, though I'm not so good with setting up fire controls. My one weakness.

I'm fairly good at combat, but not so good at business dealings, so you'll definitely be able to help me on that.
