Interesting/Efficient ways to kill unwanted migrants?

Currently, I'm running a seaside fort, and a steady flow of food/drink is trickling in. I have three squads in my military, all of which have decent skill.
So, the question: How can I get rid of those pesky migrants that keep appearing? Recently, I built a 'danger room' into which I can issue them, but it's only rigged with wooden spikes/is not very effective.

Suggestions?

What I do is draft them in a squad and send them out patrolling until their inevitable deaths (unarmed, unarmoured). Not very efficient but good for a laugh.

If you're in a freezing biome you could make an ice trap.

If you're not you could make an obsidian trap, and mine out the encased contents at your leisure.

Imaginative enough, but I want something that won't take a long time setting up, but fun in equal measures

Channel a 5x5 (smaller also works, although it doesn't look as cool) area of ground and make that a pit 12 units deep.
Cover the 5X5 hole with a retractable bridge and surround the bridge with walls and a door for stuff to go in.

Draft all useless migrants into the military.
Send militia on to the bridge.
Pull lever

Watch the bloodworks.

12 units deep isn't always enough to kill every dwarf, but thats ok since if the dwarf can survive a 12 story fall, it should be capable of surviving quite a lot more (unless the fall happens to blow off all his limbs or something).

If you want a more practical purpose, give weaving labor (at least I think it was weaving labor) to all migrants, open up caverns, and have the migrants gather giant cave spider silk.
A few of them are bound to die within a few months.

Drop them from a high place into the dining room or meeting area.

Mass pit all caged animals/goblins into an arena with your migrants. Draft any survivors, purge any other remaining creatures with glorious fire and repeat. Fun to watch and it produces some of the most bad ass soldiers possible. Also if you can find some way to perfect a loyalty cascade then from my understanding your migrants will ALWAYS be hostile. Perhaps allowing the above plan to proceed with dwarven prisoners being put up against your military. Though the arena isn't actually necessary in this case, but it gives an air of tradition to senseless bloodshed.

Retractable bridge over a 5x5 of silver warhammer traps. 250 weapons made from a crap material also helps train the weaponsmiths. Or you could just use serrated blades assuming you don't mind repurposing your hauling force to carry body bits.

It may be advisable to setup a separate hospital for these patients. In case you want them dead and they happen to survive, you can just lock them in their bedrooms.

Specialsurprise had a result of 9 z-levels as the optimal, I think? I can't recall right now, but above that they usually died and at nine they usually survived.

Migrants trigger traps when they're knocked out, right? Use the dust from a cave-in (or drawbridge slingshot) on top of a migrant-filled burrow, and below, have it packed with 10-weapon filled traps, ranging from glass saws to stonefalls.

Now one has to ask, "Dwarf: Does it blend?".

This would belong in the 'Interesting' category.

Preference: Drawbridge (easy reloadability and positioning/stocking), about 3-7z above said 10x weapon-trap blender (primarily 10x serrated glass discs). If they somehow survive the fall, they won't survive the blender. Mind you, I think they have to be knocked out by the fall to trigger them. We may have to ‼science‼.

It can also double as a goblin mill.

EDIT:
Made an attempt at a 1x1 shaft. Died on impact. 2x2 or 3x3, and maybe a shorter fall distance ought to help improve odds of successful ‼science‼.

Efficient: Burrow them in a room with a door and lock it.
FUN: Burrow them in a room with a retracting bridge over a pit of armed goblins, then pull the lever. Or drop the goblins in from above.
Flashy: Drop the migrants several z-levels.
Necro's Choice: Drop them in a volcano.
Economy Necro's Choice: Drop them in the ocean.
My favorite: Build a room outside. Make it flood at the pull of a lever. By a combination of squads stationing and burrows, move the migrants into the room. Pull the lever, possibly after letting them get all friendly.
Cruelty Deluxe: Create a room with a source of fresh or well water and no way out. Build a drop chamber above this. Make sure to build it aboveground to permit plenty of vermin to enter. Drop migrants in, and watch as they drink, hunt vermin, and socialize. Possibly study the effect of a controlled and isolated tantrum spiral they kill each other once unhappiness reaches a low enough number. Don't let them bury the dead, and only memorialize those who either died glorious deaths (or did something else to catch your attention, like go berserk and kill everyone else in the migrant chamber) or who are annoying you in life.

Personal choice.
