Bridges allow floor construction, but don't support the

So if I have an elevated bridge off the ground... When I try to build a floor next to it, it lets me. But the instant I'm finished, the bridge fails to support the new floor tile and it collapses.

I damn near crushed my Sherrif's skull doing this.
