I name ALL my fortresses The Lonely Mountain. However, I ususally take the randomly generated group name and change it to something involving violence. I think the currently one is called "Boatmurdered".

I had a civ called the Wayward Diamonds.

After seeing that my Civ was called "The Expanded Throne", I called my guys "The Lost Guard" defending the only easy way through a mountain pass, the fortress name was "The Barricade".
Probably my best nameset.

Aside from that, I'm fond of calling my guys "The Old Guard".

Copper and Diamonds.

I once had the Sizzling Silvers (group) of Silvercomet (fort).  Naturally, the first squad was equipped with silver warhammers .
