This has sort of been an ongoing issue for a while now in my game. Basically, whenever I try to assign a bed to a dwarf, it brings up the menu showing all the dwarves, letting me scroll through them to pick who I want to assign the bed to.

Unfortunately, for some reason the menu stopped scrolling. So as I highlight items lower and lower, instead of a new page of dwarves popping up, it just wraps back to the top. In other words I can only possibly assign a bed to the nobles, and whatever first few dwarves it shows.

For reference, I realized the only people it is showing are legendary dwarves and nobles, if that is related to the problem. I also tried enabling/disabling barracks, and enabling/disabling rental, and that did not change anything. Only reason I really even care is because I am trying to create a room for my swordswarfs to hang out and spar in.

Your economy has started, so you can't assign rooms to regular dwarves now.  They need to rent.

Your dwarves will use a barracks to spar.  You don't need to assign it to anybody.  You can also use a weapon rack or armor stand to make one.
