Wall Street Online!
« on: October 16, 2011, 02:06:55 pm »

Hey Guys,

Just here to spread the word about a new lil thing that is in development by a friend of mine that goes by the name of Wall Street Online.

The game is essentially a stock exchange simulator, with alot more being added as we speak! There is plenty to do there! Invest, earn cash, gamble in the casino, chat in the forums, and there is much more to come!

The game is still in very early development, so don't be expecting a super polished uber game! :P However there are great plans for the future!

Here it is: http://wallstonline.net/

Any questions, just ask! :D

Does it allow you to act as a protest group, pitting two sides against each other in mortal combat?

Well there are trading groups, that could act as the 'sides'. Then hostilities feature will be added later, which is used for attacking other members...

So in a way... YES! :P

What most "Stock" games often lack is actual stock info.

Some people actual invest in buisnesses based on public information.

Another is that Stock games often ignore the differences between a product with non-luxury use and one without. (For example things like Copper, a precious metal, has use and is thus more stable then gold, also a precious metal, that has few uses outside luxury)

Suffice it to say the vast majority of stock games are just lifeless.

Can we lie, cheat, steal and ruin people's lives just as in real life?  :P

That is very specific.

Though I have to admit a lot about how the stock exchange works is behind closed doors or behind the scenes.

For example, selling books on investing.
