Mary took the blade from Geneva and immediately proceeded to deeply cut into Ethan's neck to free the gun's barrel. "Hold still for a moment." Ethan twitched in pain as his Jugular was cut and the gun barrel was pulled at. When she was done removing the barrel she placed her hands over the spraying artery which promptly closed.

She turned to Geneva. "His name is Ethan. He was one of us, a Circle member. He disappeared about a month back with his brother Leo. He was a marksman, never missed. I guess someone had a sense of humor to give him so many guns." Digging the knife back into Ethan she kept talking to Geneva. "So, who're you?"

Sarah walked towards the two people conversing over "Ethan" and removed her face mask, but not the rest of her helmet. She was frankly dying for a cigarette.

"Right, any of you guys got a smoke?" She asked.

"Whoa, so this thing over here is Ethan?"

Athaerion pulled a cigarette from his pocket, lit it up, and put it on his mouth.

"No wonder he was looking for Leo..."

He pulled a cellphone from his pocket, called the Land's Edge, and asked them for Shade's cellphone number. He had to report to him that Ethan was found.

Suddenly, Athaerion's head was wracked with an intense pain.

"What... the... hell is... ha.. ppen... ning to... me..."

He was struggling to maintain composure, and he was fumbling around a bit, but eventually, he collapsed and fainted. It could be the virus, which was cured by Mary, acting up, or it could be possibly something else altogether.

Sarah calmly took the cigarette out of Athaerion's mouth and took a drag.

"Christ, what a dramatic." She said, after blowing out a puff of smoke.

Justicar quickly weighed the choices out infront of him. He raises his shoulders slightly and in a swift motion he takes the card.
"You'll be hearing from me soon enough."
And with that he fires off his line gun, Disappearing into the night.

Now.
Justicar had been watching the break in from a safe distance. Once he heard the gunfire die down he headed into the bank, deciding to do a spot of investigating. Why would they gas the mall? Large Scale Testing. Why would they attempt to attack this bank. Tying up Liabilities. He swooped in with his line gun to the office section of the building, attempting to find the mainframes, He skulked silently, all the workers had obviously fled, but there still was no reason to not have caution. Finally, the mainframe. He walked between the large servers as he jacked in various cords into them, He needed to proccess data. Lots of it, Looks like it was going to be another normal night for the Justicar

"Me? Oh, eh... I'm Geneva Hamako. I suppose you could call me Geneva. Most people end up doing that anyway."

As she watched Mary dig around in the gunman, she realized something.

"How are you going to get all of those whole guns out of his flesh? That has to be really, really painful. Glad I don't sprout guns."

Mary looked at Geneva. "Call me Mary. Whatever happened to him doesn't seem to bother his body. All this metal, and not one infection. Still needs to be removed. Barcodes on the guns might tell us where they were made."

She called over to the guard who drove her to the bank. "You. Give me your com system. I need to talk to Shade." The guard tossed her his ear piece with a throat mic, and a box. She put on the set. "Shade, can you hear me? We found Ethan."

It was silent for a moment. Then Shade answered in a staticy voice. "Where was he? Is he alright?"

"He's on the first floor of the Grand National Bank. He's looking bad."

"I'm a floor down. I think whoever broke in is after something in the vault." The static picked up, making it harder to hear him. "I'll be up when this is done. Kee-... him... -ive." The static was too much, but she got the idea. Wherever he was something was messing with communications. Could be all the metal around the safe.

((I'll PM Riccto what he found on the mainframe.))

A string of emails opens up on Justicar's Hud. And it wasnt viagra ads. It was important stuff, Real important stuff, He couldnt hold off on it for one more minute. He reaches up under his armpit to grab his pistol, feeling secure with the familar weight in his hand he pulls the slide back and flicks it off safe and begins to book it out of there, headed towards the nearest stairwell."B2...Basement 2?" He rushes like a black spectre towards the stairwell. He opens the door carefuly and attaches a hook to the railing and rappels down to the bottom. With a quick yank he detaches the line and it coils automatically. He looks at the blue plaque beside the door. Basement 1. "Lower still...That means this is serious stuff." He mumbles to himself as he kicks open the key locked door and scanned the room quickly with his pistol. He searched for a service elevator to hopefully get him in the right direction. Out of the corner of his eye he spots the silver doors of a elevator, but this one had a much more advanced locked lock, Finger Print and Retinal. This he did not want to brute force. He jimmed the side of the box open and snaked a small plug starting from his wrist into one of the ports. He sat in a low crouch beside the door with his pistol at the ready as he waited for the program to do its work.

((I can write this in this style from here on if people want. Actions would normally be written daily (more frequent for minor actions I suppose). I might have to make a system for combat, but it is possible. What does everyone think?))

Simon
Walking down the blank and desolate corridors Simon felt as if he was being watched, or at least as if something was off. He turned to the right following the now infrequent cracked tiles. A trial of shimmering red blood stood out starkly against the plain white tiles. At the end of the trail was a female security officer clutching at her rendered torso. Her standard issue revolver was in her hand, but her body was limp and there was no sign that she was breathing. Luckily the chimera must have stepped in her blood, because there were three sets of footprints leaving the scene. Forcing himself to ignore the corpse Simon walked onward following the chimera's footprints. Glancing at a nearby map he could see that the chimera was undoubtedly headed to the safe, but there was also a single set of footprints that deviated from the path to the safe and headed to the left.

Justicar
An indicator on Justicar's HUD flashed at him and the retinal scanner flashed green, the program worked. The elevator whirred into life, but it still took it's dear sweet time climbing to the main floor. The wide steel doors opened with a ding and a scream. Justicar swung his pistol's sights to the figure in the elevator, but quickly pointed the pistol upwards in a resting position.

It was a businessman from the looks of it, but all his cowering in the corner of the elevator made it hard to tell. His name badge hanging from his waist claimed he was the bank's CEO. He shouted at Justicar over his heavy sobs, "W-what do you want!? Take anything. I don't care j-just don't kill me."

Simon took a moment to think the situaton through.

Someone is in here with that thing. No idea who it is, but from the fottprints it looks like it's an human. And if he's human, I might get some information out of him. I need more information, and this looks like my only chance.

With that, Simon turned to the dead officer. He dipped his claw into her blood, then started writing on the wall.

Try to stop the monster.
I'll follow the other footsteps.

Then, he started running down the tunnel, following the mysterious trail.

Simon

Walking down the other tunnel the bloody footprints lead into what appears to be a security room. A long ten foot desk was lined with at least ten or fifteen screens, each one showing a different section of the bank. The chimera was shown walking on a monitor labeled B1-10. Bloody footprints seemed to be forming to the right of the chimera, but no one was seen. Monitors labeled 2B were displaying only static, and it seemed as if the ones around it had noisier images. The sounds of thin metal doors being slammed can be heard from deep inside the room. A man in a security uniform coated in fresh blood walked out of the room with a raised revolver. "Who are you, and why are you here?"

"I'm The Shifter™. But most people call me Simon these days. I was chasing that monster."

Simon pointed at the Chimera on the screen.

Wait a second. Why are those footsteps appearing out of nowhere?

Simon quickly took a look at the fooprints in the security room, trying to see where they ended up. He was getting ready to strike, suspecting that they hadn't been made by the security guard.

"Be careful! There might be someone in here with us!"

"Your joking right?" Blood dripped down from his vest and onto his blood covered shoes. "That thing killed Brenda, the last thing I need now is some 'Shifter' trying to scare the crap out of me." The guy eased up, placed his revolver on the table and sat down. He turned towards the monitors and placed his hand over his forehead. "There wasn't anything I could do to save her. She just kept bleeding." He looked up at Simon. "If you really are here to stop that thing then give it hell. I probably can't do much with bullets, even if I do bring a couple boxes... They're probably headed to vault 8. Don't bother with the maps, follow the blood trail. It should get you close enough. Your skin'll start crawling when you get close. Whatever is in there you'll feel it. Be careful out there." The man placed his hand on his revolver. "You should get going."

While unconscious, Athaerion felt a surge of wild emotions, memories and enlightenment. A part of his mind was coming back to him.

He remembered the times when he was in the Circle as Leon Alderic Lenoir, working alongside his half-brother, Ethan. He performed weapon maintenance, and while he wasn't the best marksman in the group, he knew how certain firearms worked, and how to use them properly. Aside from that, he and his brother usually communicate via parcels, sending whatever his brother can scrounge up to back to him, modified.

He also remembered he used to run a gun laundering service, as well as providing gun modifications to cops who don't mind getting their hands dirty.

He was among the best in the Circle, with his gun mechanism expertise and weapon insight.

Then, something happened.

His brother stopped communicating after being sent to a high-risk operation. Feeling worried, he couldn't think straight, and focus on modifying his weapons. He decided to send one last package to him, acquiring a coat with the Circle's insignia, and modifying it to enhance one's abilities. He also packed his personal weapon, a modified Berreta M9 with it, hoping he could get a response from his brother. Finally, there was an experimental piece of Buster hardware. It was a laser pistol, which he repaired over the course of time he spent resting in his hideout. He knew the pistol's internal workings well, due to him repeatedly disassembling and reassembling it over and over. But knowing he still worked for the circle, he decided to pack it as well, hoping his brother would deliver the package to Shade.

After that, he gave the package to one of his self-made deliverybots, to send it to the usual spot where they receive the parcels.

Then, the rest was silence. There wasn't any response. Usually, his brother would send back a parcel three days after he sends it to the usual spot, but there weren't any parcels that his deliverybots acquired from the usual spot. There was nothing.

Now enraged, he went and asked the other Circle members where they sent his brother, and they told him he was sent after Wei, for reasons he didn't know, or wasn't allowed to know. Whether his brother successfully finished his job or died trying didn't matter to him; there was no response for two weeks now.

He was pretty sure his brother was dead, so he gave chase and went to exact revenge on Wei. However, a bunch of mysterious agents apprehended him and he was sent into the territory of Clades, far away from home. Clades knew he had reality-warping powers; he was leaking psychic energy all over, leaving nigh-indelible footprints for psychics to see.

Interested over controlling his powers, Clades performed various experiments, disfiguring his face and mutilating his body in the process. For what seemed to be a year of torture for him was just a month, and finally, he awoke. He trashed the place by bending reality on a whim, killing hundreds of Clades agents in the process. He also changed the way he looked; nothing is much worse than looking like trash while trashing the enemy.

Unfortunately, with great power comes insanity, and he found himself lusting for power. Feeling he might destroy the world if he didn't keep himself in check, he warped back near the Land's Edge Pub and there, he bent reality to remove himself from existence.

He then awoke, with nary a memory of having a brother, or where he was. But he knew he forgot something. A lot of things. In Kaleno, he bode his time trying to trace back his memory, and rediscovered his hideout.

After the surge of memories coming back to him, he regained consciousness, slightly stunned and renewed. He was slightly in a panic, but he found that Mary was still there, removing Ethan's firearms from his body, albeit they relocated to a safer place.

Angry at who caused this, Athaerion conjured up an experimental buster laser pistol, and traveled to the bank's vault. He was going to exact revenge on whoever tried to transform his brother into an abomination.

"Sorry for scaring you. Look closely at that screen. There is someone invisible walking next to that monster."

Simon pointed to the screen, showing the guard the steps that were appearing out of nowhere.

"But don't you worry. I'll take care of this in no time."

With that, Simon ran off, running as fast as he could to catch the chimera and it's unseen companion.
