In a game with 15 people you can't expect 13 of them to go at 2 just so 2 people can fight or we'd never get anything done.

I never played multiplayer so I do not know what to expect, except messing up, losing, failing and all that on my part :P
However, what really got me interested in trying a multiplayer game is this let's play where they seem to be playing mostly at speed 2/3 with quite a good deal of pausing. Of course, I understand that not everyone would enjoy such a slow pace. I probably would not either.

I will try to find some time during the week to play a bit and get used to unpaused gameplay and higher speed.

Can we get some time paused at the beginning, though? It seems to me that in the beginning, Denmark needs to get a lot of shit done quickly, preferably before unpausing.

Yeah of course every nation has quite a bit of stuff to do at the start, so there'll be a decent enough period to do all that.

It'll help speed things up if people have a rough idea of what their starting actions will be, of course.

We'll probably pause on Oct 14, 1400 too :p

Also I need someone to help me test some server stuff this evening since my setup is a bit weird at the moment

I'd really like another East Asian (or perhaps Middle Eastern) country to join, preferable something in Indonesia / Thailand. With just two players it might get a little lonely.
Getting the correct countries in Europe is ofc of a higher priority now though.
I would like to join as Jemen or Oman (have to see what works best in DW), if that's OK?
That would be great! Although the only interaction I've ever had with them as Hindustan was the alliances they kept making with Muslim Indian nation. Than they kept invading Sri Lanka and leave after I won the war versus the Indian nation :P . You are probably less retarded that than the AI though..
Oh believe me, playing as an Arabic minor is one hell of a ride, especially since they upped the AI's aggressiveness and tossed around some CBs in Divine Wind. I just ran a test game of half a century and the whole area was in a perpetual state of blitzkrieg (though I may have helped kickstart that a bit by vasalizing Ethiopia right at the start of the game). I'm only picking Jemen or Oman because that means you don't start right next to a big, aggressive neighbour...

I'd like to know if either Grantyman or Tyler6498 would be willing to offer me naval support at the start of the game to help me get Byzantium back on it's feet?  I am offering to pay them back in cold cashy money after the war.  This offer isn't necessarily only open to them, but I think that Portogual and England are the only ones who start off with a navy strong enough to take down the Ottomans at the game's start.

I believe we're talking about full scale colonisation here.  You don't just leave all your shit in the van when you move house.

The only thing that happened in general was the death of 71% of the fort, and that wasn't really worth mentioning.

I've asked someone not from the forum to join. He isn't good (at all) and lives in gmt+2. That's ok right?

Well I don't know for sure if he actually wants to join or just says yes to get rid of me ;)
I'll find that out before the game starts.

Also, another rule that might be useful: If you are the alliance leader and have another human player in the alliance, don't make peace without giving the other human player a chance to get a good peace deal as well.

I disagree with this. The whole alliance leader system is in place to simulate what happened in real life. Like when Hungary was liberated from the Turks. A Hungarian army did it, with a few Austrians, but they still enforced their rule on us.
