That is not an engraving.  That is an item with decorations on it.  And it's the result of modding to add additional art shapes to the game, nothing more.

The inclusion of "suede" shows that modding has already been done.  Default art icons can be included.  You can selectively remove icons like "squares" and "two circles" and add things as you want.  This can end up with rather humorous results very often.

The wiki article for Cacame shows how to include him as a default art image.  You get pieces like "an image of the ale-chugging elf king in gneiss" and such.  You can include a rather lot, really.
