Well, it is also a matter of finding full plate in stores with +200 max durability.  (I recently went on a buying spree in the local area northwest of Ashford for that exact product...  >.>)
I find that most full plates are around 200 MD. I'm not sure if I'm lucky, or you're not but it's so. Case in point, there's a 235 MD full plate going for 928 gold @32,98. I'm planing to return to @15,79 tomorrow, tell me if you'd prefer me to take it there.

(in other non-news: dungeons @26,99 and 49,92 still exist. If you have a datestamp in your database, you can update it.)

Yeah, it's not a database (yet) it's just a csv file. Timestamps aren't that useful for the dungeons unless we know when they appeared and how long they last. Putting in a "date first noticed" field might indicate the likeliness that a dungeon is still there though. Generally, the best way to get dungeons is to seek out artefact quests since that adds XP and profit plus is a guaranteed current dungeon.

Timestamps might be more helpful for blacksmiths though, since those show number of days that particular blacksmith has been in operation.

I did not. Up to 2200g then.

RE :ArKFallen, 200+ Plate:

Seem quite rare so far, only 1 of my 5 plates is 240, the rest 150-180. Ive been keeping an eye out for some for myself, but will let you know how my own search goes.
Which area are you searching?
2 of (now) 6 of mine are 200+ so I was thinking they grouped around 180-190, not the case at all.
I've searched and cleared the area SW of Ashford into the shallows of Cardolan of Full Plate Mail (4 sets at 160-180). My need is lessened so it'll be less of a priority, but higher prosp towns are more likely to have multiple shops which is where I recommend looking.

Another good find you get is indestructible chain mail. Pile 3 upgrades on one of those and it's basically a 20 point armor that never wears out. It'd be a good choice for a garrison character.

I also have found 2 indestructible plate mails since I started playing. One in a dungeon chest and the other spawned in a shop (lucky!). One is now upgraded to 36 defence and the other is 37.

I agree with Reelya. I reckon that might have an effect of forcing pop into adjacent cities weighted by prosperity and distance.

Does the population grow/shrink to some limits at all or is it totally static? Can it be killed off during raids? Is there any abstract representation for food etc, eg. the more the wilds are tamed, the more potential food & for pop etc. All unknowns I guess.

I guess this game is old now but there's actually a whole lot of potential for a game of this nature. You could make a dynamic world where the populations and towns shrink and grow so the players can also work with the aim of helping the people as a whole rather then just their own Kingdom/Party. If there are few players the Kingdom of Man shrinks and towns get lost to the wilds, pushed back to some stronghold in an extreme case. If there are many players and they do well the map could be expanded to new frontiers and old ones closed off, archived off as settled lands with nothing worthy of adventurers attention. Would work well with the inter-political and party building....

Full Plate has +13 defense to chain mail (though chain mail weight is far better), +10 is 2 godlike blacksmith upgrades. So upgraded full plate has comparable stats for cheaper (and more weight) in the long run. I actually have one and it is just below a full plate with 1 upgrade at 4 upgrades.

If Agi wasn't my dump stat (and if Con wasn't boosted as a result) I'd probably stick to indestructible chain.

The only indestructible I have found is leather. I brought it because it had Farsight(Lv1) x4 casts a day. Seemed really useful for the spell but whether I need to keep it equipped permanently to use the spell I dont know.. yet. If I remember to equip it for the day roll over.

I'm working on getting it so everyone can edit blacksmith, prosperity, and mayor data when they want to. I didn't want to go for a full database because of the extra work, so I worked out something that will work. There will be a form with all the city data on it, and it will only update the actual entries you change. This is the prototype, though there is no submit button or processing yet. You can use this as a summary of all city data too:

IndestructoChain has a base defense bonus of +5, which IMHO sucks all possible balls. (Plate having durability in the high 1~~ can be safely upgraded several times even for garrison characters, so I always upgrade it.) However if you want there's one in the same place I found the 235 MD plate. apparently it's been plucked already. Should I keep an eye for one?

Ok the editor appears to be working. Some people can test it for me. That data is backed up elsewhere as well. Same password as the map. PM me for the password link if needed. Without the password you can view the data and input changes but they won't get accepted. It will only change values for fields you actually enter a value for, hopefully there won't be any concurrency issues.

Things you can change for each city are - prosperity, mayor's name, blacksmith level (a drop down selection box), and number of days the blacksmith has been active. This is actually stored as a date relative to when you enter the data, so when you look at it again, it will automatically increase, so you can see how "old" the blacksmith is. I've entered the current date for all existing blacksmiths so it won't be accurate until people update things.

GGuysI think I just figured out my problem with the Sage. Could be with adblock and that shit so im going to come back on tuesday and try playing in Incognito. Since thats why neither me and my gf hasn't been able to log into our banks these latest days, we just got redirected to the loginpage.

Any info I should need?

So that you don't waste points upgrading useless things and end up with sub-optimal characters. The first post is more about game mechanics and maxing out your turn usage, but you can get a handle on that now or later. The second post is about what to put your points in. And this is important as you can't change your character's skills later (you can make more characters though). Each skill maxxes out at level 10, so 1 character can have 2 x level 10 skills and 1 level 4 skill by the level cap of level 25.

I max out each classes main attribute and CON at 18, and put the rest into Agility. (or DIV for the luck bonus for Archers who already max out agility). You generally want to upgrade CON exclusively for several levels, the guide says once CON hits 40 switch to maxxing out each classes main attribute.

The guide focuses on building optimized combat characters, but you can use the same principles to build support characters. e.g. construction skill reduces time to make fortifications, and fletching skill makes arrows or bolts. Fletching uses Intelligence as the main skill, so you can train up a support mage (Do this after you've trained up your main 8 combat guys) with level 10 construction, level 10 fletching, level 4 metallurgy (which automatically repairs the mages equipment) and Max INT at every level (they will end up with 90 Int). You put them in a garrison armed with a crossbow, and they will automatically churn out crossbow bolts like a factory. You can add them to the party now and then, when you need their construction abilities, or when you want to get them to scribe scrolls of their daily spells (save these for the expensive ones, like the 10 point spell that blows up enemy walls), so that your main mage (who won't have 90 int because he has upgraded CON instead) can cast way more attack spells than he should normally be able to.

hm...found a 2 handed sword with fire damage 3. Its really good, shame it has 97 durability on it.
