Right on. I'll just continue leveling then.

For the sake of reference, if you look at Reelya's map on the lower right, Ashford is Girlinhat's base of operations.

Do orbs really spawn the creature groups? Or is that just flavor text in the quest description?

If you independently find an orb and destroy it it says no more monsters will spawn. I've seen monsters in the area anyway.

But, since a town's prosperity is sorta (I'm not sure) related to the number of parties passing through, and adventurers typically look for monsters to kill, wouldn't an area filled with monsters attract a bunch of parties who'll need to use the town for healing?

But since the town's prosperity is also affected by the number of monsters around the town, a town without monsters should have high prosperity, but adventurers wouldn't be able to do quests such as kill x monsters and the town wouldn't attract as many parties.

The day rollover is a bit bugged.  I think it's suffered 3 years of rounding errors.  The actual day tick is about 2-3 hours before what the timer says.

More than a bit bugged. I've been screwed out of at least three hours' worth of turns for some reason.

I added something to the map to store locations of people's garrisons, so we can see where each person is placing them. But there's a password now you have to add to the url to see those on the map (don't want leaked info, pm me for the password and pm me your garrison locations if you have them).

I'm working on an editor too so other people can add information. It works already, but it's low-level and anyone could wreck everything very easily, so I'm wary about letting people edit the raw text file. I need to make a more advanced version with forms.

What's the deal on blank scrolls? Dust Grove has a shop selling 28 at 22 gold each. I'm willing to buy a handful for the cause, although I can't inscribe them just yet.

At about level 8, your priests and mage can take a spell they've memorized for the day and put it on the scroll.

I know that much, but there was talk earlier of collecting/selling useful scrolls to fund the glorious as-yet-unnamed endeavour. Should I be collecting scrolls against the future?

Nah, they're fairly plentiful.  You can if you want though.  You can always utilize scrolls somewhere, it's not like they won't be used.

I'm looking at how we could place garrisons. We should have an agree-on plan / layout which we can indicate on the map where garrisons need to be placed.

notice Cardolan has main garrisons every 9th square. That's because a regular garrison gains control of tiles 4 spaces in any direction. Cardolan later added other garrisons halfway between the main ones. Base on this and our location, I stuck some proposed garrison locations on the map (invisible without the password).

That looks okay. I'm not sure how we're going to handle competing with Cardolan, Staberinde and the Lands of the Lost Swords and Souls, though.

If we stick mainly to unclaimed territory there's no reason for us to compete with them at all. At first, at least  ;D
