Ok so just the "Characters" tab under the "Party" menu? That doesn't seem too game-breaking.

So did you get any of your guys back from the wiped garrison?

And to build stuff on a garrison, do you need to have your party at the same location? I'm not seeing those options in the "manage" screen for my garrison.

I notice the Red country has an NPC king, so the players there are too busy expanding to worry about politics maybe? lol, the way to slow them down might be to have someone go contest the crown.

And there's that green blob to the right ... it's not in the country list at all, anyone know what it is?

(edit sorry for the double-post I just realized).

I haven't gone back to check, but if I select a character, I can select the "other" tab of characters and still see them listed.  So I don't know.  You can start building things at... level 8 I believe, and a garrison at 6.

EDIT: Did an upgrade for 51,200 gold on my halberd, and only got +1, so I appear to be near the limit of what a god-like blacksmith can do.  Granted I'm at 12+24 damage on a single weapon, so... still doing good.

Ah, ok so probably stop before the 51K upgrades then.

I'm wondering now whether "Adds moves per day" items work for characters who are in a garrison, or if they have to be in your actual party. I have all of my high-level characters in a garrison now in a remote area full of mid-level monsters. They've started to battle them successfully, hopefully this can churn some XP while I wait for my 1000 turns to regenerate, though my trainees in the actual party have all the free moves per day items just in case.

ANY character you own contributes rounds-per-day, including garrisons, inns, streets, or mayors.  I don't think dead characters do though.

I've also acquired a quest for 5,000-ish to dive a dungeon.  I'll be harassing this for a day or so, and when I can complete it I'll surely be party level 15 and travel forth to install myself as a mayor!  From there we'll begin the dwarven conquest.  It'll be in the lower right, closer to 100,100 side where there's not much kingdom claims.  Once I'm able to secure a town, I'll be working to push up barracks and train new recruits, so I can get more mayors more quickly.  Once I can finally establish 4 mayors, then we'll shift the other direction, and I'll move to primarily gold production so I can become a queen and start delivering player quests.  I'll be hiring you mooks to secure the land for me.

I'm debating building a real-life map for this as well, so I can keep track of towns and resources.  Something like a corkboard marked in a grid, and some pushpins for different items...  Any suggestions?

All parties will get their own marked pin and will report to the high queen Girlinhat on their movements in this thread.

The Copiae Arcem are at your service, when I can be bothered to level them.

The Scions of Mountainhome are ready to support any properly dwarven ruler so long as it's not that elf-loving pretender, Gotrek of Staberinde.

How do you switch equipment between party members? I can't find anything in the help.

Right-click on item, select the "give to" drop-down menu

Huh, right-clicking overrides the browser. I didn't try it because I didn't expect it to work. Thanks! Having a bow in one place and a bunch of arrows in various others wasn't exactly optimal.

Edit: having regenerated my party, this is going much better. I may actually have meaning in the grand scheme of things at some stage.

Cheaper than the Inn, they live on the streets. I guess they don't heal up very quickly though. It's a storage place for spare characters.
