I'm playing. Not sure what you mean by "lead" though.

Run a dwarf kingdom >_>
Sure, yeah. Should be fun. What are the perquisites for forming a kingdom? Do I need to be a specific level? Do I need to conquer a town?

http://crownofconquest.com/help/reference/mayors and http://crownofconquest.com/help/reference/kingdoms imply that... The king-to-be needs to control four towns, which will require nine level twenty characters (because of the mayor limit). I don't know if those help pages are up to date, though.

Ok, one last question how is party level determined? (I know where to read it- mine is 4, but what is it?)

If I recall correctly, party level is an average of your character levels. So if you have  level 2 character and a level 10 character, the party level would be 6.

Well, I'm getting kinda into this.  Doing a fair job trompsing the local sewer, likely attempting some out of town excursions soon.  Got the best equipment available in this little rinkydink town, we'll see if there's anything better tomorrow.

Business Inc. has 4 dwarf warriors and 1 dwarf priest.  After leveling my priest, I just set her to memorize like 12 heals tomorrow.  I'm likely just gonna go wandering the wilderness looking for some groups to stomp and get my reward.  After that, depending on equipment and level... well, no idea~

You can improve your gear at the blacksmith at the cost of some durability (and gold, natch).

If I recall correctly, party level is an average of your character levels. So if you have  level 2 character and a level 10 character, the party level would be 6.
So signing on two rookies (TIL you can have more than 4 people in your active party) was a mistake. Live and learn, I guess. (I also learned that party members are slaves to be bought, sold and not fed, let alone paid) Speaking of feeding, are there going to be health potions at some point? (so far my only source of non-town healing are my cleric's Heal spells)

In case the Staberinde player is still playing I suggest you call your kingdom Mountainhome in an attempt to perpetuate the meaningless circle of violence  :)

I've gotten two health potions from somewhere (dungeons or wilderness battles). So they exist, but they don't seem to be common.

I'm still looking for better equipment.  I'm also looking for exact combat information.  Like, what exactly is the "Back Rank Penalty" and how do I exploit it?  And do I get the chance to custom create characters later?

Stumbled across this thread ._. Currently in PTW. Though it looks a lot of fun to join (especially if with fellow B12ers)
Err, this is multiplayer right? (And by that, I mean, internet heavy?)

When you have more then three characters, if you take a look, there's a line dividing them. Those above the line are in the front rank, while those behind are in the back rank. I'm not sure if the back rank is less likely to get hit, but the idea is that ranged weapons and reach weapons will hit for full damage from there, while things like a dagger will get a penalty.

It is multiplayer, it is a browser MMO, but it's also a browser MMO, so the actual 'multiplayer' is a bit staggered and disconnected.

Also, my first impressions and advice: It's like DnD if you controlled the whole party at once.  Warriors with big, two-handed weapons are pretty great.  Battle axes and partisans are really good.  Getting at least one priest is fairly important, if only to give them a bow and then max out their heals-per-day.

I'm still mucking about, getting close to being able to have two towns (although I don't have any yet). How's everyone else doing?

I'm level 8, just tried to raid a town- big mistake, got half my party killed, and only took out 2 guards.
