Seems like the game is near death.
Last update in 2013, the forums are down.

Too bad :(
I guess the donations weren't a-plenty...

I might join. Anyone want to "refer" me?
update:I'll take that as a 'no'.

I tried to play chess but two of my opponents were playing competitive checkers as a third person walked in with Game of Thrones in hand confused cause they thought this was the book club.

Is this game still alive? I might be interested if it is...

Sure, why not. I could use another time sink. Anyone got a refer code?
Edit: No? 'kay. Still haven't signed up yet.

I managed to get into my account from ages ago when I played it a bit - http://crownofconquest.com/player/register?referred_by=TTHSK

I think the game might be dead, though.

It is a bit. When I was on, I was the only one on. There was someone who seemed to have taken over most of the world, or at least the starting area.

Last I checked this it was still Staberinde, our nemesis from the war, who was dominating the game. Maybe the king of Staberinde is the only one still playing?

Yea, I think I pretty much stopped playing after Staberinde took over the world, beating back all those who would challenge its rule.  (I guess the issue is, old high level player can rule the world, can beat town defenses despite the amount of gold/resources you throw into it... so defense became pointless.  Though, he did pick up other old high players who helped maintain Staberinde's dominion.)

I think ^ are the only two kingdoms - they're the only ones on the stats list (although there seems to be a third one with bits of the map). There's a lot of empty space, too; about half the map seems uncontrolled? http://crownofconquest.com/static/minimap/kingdoms.png

I seem to remember liking the game but being too busy with study or something at the time to get into it. I'll join in if someone wants to lead.

So, I'm questing to find a "Jade Jewel" any ideas what that is, or where you get one?

Shops can sell em and you can find em randomly in dungeons.  You can even carry extras for quest turn-ins.    .... If I remember correctly.

Nobody tempted to play and lead?

Sure, yeah. Should be fun. What are the perquisites for forming a kingdom? Do I need to be a specific level? Do I need to conquer a town?
