You are in combat with a group of 2 Basilisks and 1 Spectre

Last Round:

Spectre #4 took 1 poison damage.
Captain Emmun Actionnestle attacked Spectre #4 with his Bastard Sword and hit for 2 points of standard damage . Spectre #4 resisted the Poison attack!
Basilisk #4 attacked Captain Emmun Actionnestle with its Death Gaze and missed.
Basilisk #3 attacked Captain Emmun Actionnestle with its Death Gaze and missed.
Spectre #4 attacked Captain Emmun Actionnestle with its Broadsword and critical hit for 11 points of damage. Captain Emmun Actionnestle was killed!
Your party has been wiped out!

Click to Restart your party.

In the end, after my archer was killed (damn traitor, dying on me like that), I decided the Captain might as well go out with a fight, not fleeing like a scalded pig-dog.

May he rot with honour.

edit: Now for a new one, I guess. Does anyone have any advice on party build? I mean, dwarven mages and priests seems rather easy to recruit later, and mages aren't as useful early on anyway. Is going with only archers and warriors to begin with a stupid idea?

...This would a great time to use the chat too, I guess, but I there doesn't seem to be a link outside the game-screen.

Well, depends on what you want really. Personally I started with 2 warriors and one of the rest of the classes and then bought myself a priest, an archer and a mage in that order.

I was looking through the 3 Towns that I am raising my Popularity in so that I can win the hearts of the people, one already had an election when I wasn't ready though T_T. And I noticed a Quarterstaff with a Coin cost of nearly 3000g on it. I had a closer look...
Inflicts Flame Dmg (Level 7)
10% Featherweight
+1 Divinity

Yeah my Priest is now wielding a Flame Rod...

After running five jewel quests between two towns less than six turns apart, I'm rich again. Woo!

o_O

Totally not worth it, but still epic! Blacksmith the attack factor up at an average, decent or better smith for extra accuracy. :)

Scriver, I suggest you start with 2 warriors, 2 archers and a priest. Mages are useless at first and will just die on you. Priest, after level 2-3, can heal quite a bit of damage, plus a portal spell can save hundreds of turns getting out of a dungeon.

Me, I started with 2 warriors, got them longswords, 2 archers, got them longbows, and a priest, which I gave a spear. Once I got some leather armor, I kicked ass. Then, chainmail and scalemail, up to level 7-8, then splintmail. Now, one warrior has an awesome indestructible +2 to guard two-handed sword, I have 2 indestructible longbows, and some great armor.

Btw, damn werebears keep kicking my new crossbowman's ass.

He means the KING. The kingdom will be Twelve Bays, though the king can have his own silly name. :P

Actually I meant the kingdom. I don't really like the twelve bays name :P

Started up again. Part of Tuenola. This time, I won't waste my kingdom-change.

And thanks for the advice.

Really?

I like it. :) I'm going to make a 3rd kingdom probably, whenever I hit 16, so I'll name mine Rerith Zustash or some such, one of my favorite Dwarven fort names.

I am so seeing this happening...

Around the Humans within the great ring lies the fortress of the Dwarves. While separate kingdoms they are still Kin and all work together to hold back any evil in the lands...

I am reading a Book now which is called "Dwarves" which has that idea, a Land Ringed by a great range so imposing that there is only 5 Safe entrances where it so happens 5 Dwarven Kingdoms Built their grand fortress and defend the world within this Range from the evils on the outside. While the Dwarves fight back the Undead and Orcs the Humans live in peace having only themselves to bicker and fight against, so naturally its up to the Dwarves to keep everyone safe. Only the great gods can save them if one of the Dwarven Fortresses actually fall.....

Oh Wait... One does, In the first Chapter... Oh so much fun is ahead...

The Dwarves call themselves Firstlings, Secondlings, Thirdlings, Forthlings and Fifthlings. Each of them are made of around 14-20 Clans of Dwarves under one King who each are part of a Council of each King who one of the five is the High King, Voted on by ALL Dwarves to lead the Main Meetings though every Chieften does attend the major ones. Its also noted that Each Dwarven Kingdom has something that its special about, while all Dwarves are Smiths and Warriors at heart, the Secondlings are Grand Masons and Stone Cutters while the Forthlings Polish the Gems and Stones that shine great. And So forth. Very interesting Story too..

Having multiple kingdoms will be interesting. How are we going to handle the land grabbing?

Northwestern Kingdom is up! Name is Mountainhome!

Were on completely opposite sides. Territory grabbing won't be an issue.
