Holy schist, this thread is mica me sick.
DF Players never truly leave.  They just abandon the fortress for a few years and then reclaim.

Welp, assuming someone doesn't steamroll my cities over night, I'll be forming a kingdom tomorrow.

The king shall be Urist Nudenanil, some homeless dwarf I picked up cheap in the recruitment office who had been sitting on his ass for the last 30 days with no job. I gave him a bath, suited him up in platemail, and told him to rule justly.

Now i just need a name. I was thinking of something in DF dwarven, for flavor.

Maybe: Anilosor Osram
Which in DF means "The Glorious Kingdom of Fortune"

Or maybe something more humorous, like: Edosul Nilun
Which kinda sounds important, but translates as "The Amazing Pants of Wearing"

Any suggestions?

Well we originally decided on Twelve Bays, although that doesn't really sound particularily dwarven

He means the KING. The kingdom will be Twelve Bays, though the king can have his own silly name. :P

How about this. One heads the Kingdom of Twelve Bays, while the other picks a cool-sounding but ridiculous Dwarven name so no one knows its from Bay12?

Preferably something regarding socks ;) Should be a Dwarven word for socks...

Database updated, another 10 or so towns added. :)

REMEMBER, PM me your  info so I can add you to the database, so we know who's joining the Bay kingdoms, and who's cities to not attack! If you're caught in the wildnerness or lose a town, just kindly message the guy who owns the offending party. We can be civil about this, as this is a COMMUNITY game. No use taking our frustrations out on our own when we've got hundreds in-game to fight instead. :P

I came this (what do you mean you can't see my finger-language?) close to raiding Rogue's Haven because it's spelled without an apostrophe ingame but with one in the the database. I suggest putting both spellings there so there won't be a mistake whichever one you search for.

...By the way, that is a great name for a town. I would take it immediately, were it not for our Bayish Kinship. On a whim, one might almost say :P

There aren't THAT many cities ingame. >_> Not one city I've seen thats an actual close spelling of another. Chalk it up to typos ;)

Upflats is mine again. :) Lowered the taxes again, what's with the NPCs raising taxes so damn much?

Apparently the villagers, and I'm quoting this from the News, didn't like the kingdom so they rebelled, lol. When I logged back in and found the Mayor, it was an Archer NPC. Apparently, overnight when I was in there, the NPCs overthrew Moonshine's mayor since they were still loyal to me and Staberinde. :P When I took the town, the town's loyalty to Time was, and I quote, "Terrible" lmao.

You misunderstand me. I didn't think it was another towns, I assumed that because I couldn't find it in our list it wasn't one of our towns. At first, I just searched for "Rogues Haven" and nothing showed up. It was just the moment before I was going to click "raid" that I the thought came up that maybe it was spelled with a "'s" in the list, and checked that as well. Otherwise, I would've (at least attempted to) kill Paul's mayor and run away with all his gold and underpants.

I TAKE BACK MY PREVIOUS STATEMENT.

Remember the blacksmith who was average at 22 days? Well, he just turned decent on his 23rd day. o_O

The other, terrible blacksmith at 22 days, I don't know. Not traveling that far to find out.

Unless I'm mixing up 22-day blacksmiths all of a sudden, apparently they DO become better (or worse?) over long periods of time. Which means no raids, stable income, good guard protection, etc.

I'm pretty sure Mutant himself has stated that blacksmith skill rating is completely randomised at the moment. You're a seeing a pattern where there isn't any, unless the game has some sort of "ghost" ;)

Also, the Seven Tears adventuring party took one of my towns, Pine Tower and Haze Fort decided to rebel yesterday. I'm thinking I'll be taking them both back at some point in the near future, although I still have 8 towns so it's not as if I'm lacking administrative duties.

Weird. I was just at that town 12 hours ago. Its the closest town to mine, and I could've sworn it was at average. Maybe I'm confusing it with another Staberinde town. All of there northwestern towns are 100 prestige, full of fucktons of guards, and have blacksmiths for 20-25 days o_O

Party is deleted, and you have to make a new party on the account.
