Utar Urdos & crimson Sickle, please report to the new Database, and be aware you took Moonshine Guild's cities, a bay12er.

Not sure what town that's supposed to be. Moonshine guild took Runlevy from me but I chalked it down to a misunderstanding and took it back. Is it maybe Pine Tower? I'm pretty sure all the towns I've taken have either been NPC-controlled or belonging to Staberinde. Anyway, if I did take another Bayers town it certainly wasn't intentional.

Theres a party named Utar Urdos? funny.

Mines Etar Udos, and I've been taking cities in the southeast. So far I have 8 cities, I could declare a kingdom but have no turns to start claiming territory so I'll probably hold off.

I just had an epic battle with Kronk-S'Schnorrbatt garrison in a city, the only city I took that wasn't NPC. I debated just leaving it alone, but couldn't resist the challenge - plus it was right in the middle of my other cities. They had some serious firepower there, and I had to retreat and come back twice to finish them off. The very first round their mage nuked one of my guys in the 60s, but I was able to take out the mage before he roasted my party. Had to spend like 15k on resing/heals from a neighboring town and 120 turns, but I cleared them out. Took cash from the town itself to cover my expenses. Hopefully that doesn't cut the prosperity, im not sure how prosperity works.

I probably made an enemy of one of the top players though, haha. Checking the ranking, they are #3 for total xp, xp per char, and xp per turn. They've used 5x as many turns as I have so have been around a lot longer.

Makes me wonder. They can just res all their guys from the morgue, right? I've gone on this assumption, but I've yet to have chars in the morgue so I don't know. I'd hate to learn I murdered all their best chars, lol. Don't want to make an arch-nemesis or anything. :)

I already said, no convos in the database thread. :P

Also, Moonshine/Aesir bitched and moaned, he joined Time and just took my city. I'm going to hunt him down for that.

If he fucks with me again, I'm doing more than just killing his party in Kingdoms.

Aesir, if it was an accident, say so. Otherwise, you just made the one enemy you'll wish you hadn't made.

I must apologize to the Kingdoms and Bay12 community for my angry outburst. I personally have an extreme dislike for betrayal and individuals who quickly switch sides in a conflict. It is a sign of lack of honor, and no backbone, and I'll have nothing to do with such individuals.

I would gladly give up my cities for Bay12. If you're going to cry and complain, then join the enemy and steal you own people's cities, then you're not only childish, immature and dishonorable, but you have absolutely no sense of loyalty or respect. Hell, as long as a Bay12er has the cities, its all fine and dandy because they'll all end up in the same place anyway; OUR kingdom. What's the big damn issue?

You do know that I have way more allies, towns, and characters than you.  :P But yeah, I didn't know it was your town. I'm mainly attacking Oddity.

The obvious problem with this game at the moment, is that players who have been playing the game a couple of weeks can raid towns trivially. Defence is more of a challenge, as you have to rely on the AI's judgement during battles. Active players can do smart stuff, like target enemy casters first, and use their own casters sensibly and optimally. For the defenders to win, they need to outclass their attackers by a significant degree, which seems backwards in my opinion.

The Bay 12 driven orgy of town raiding currently in progress means that mayors have a seriously shortened life expectancy right now. We really shouldn't be surprised if our mayors are struck down by "friendly fire" - when everyone is trying to accumulate towns at the same time, it can only lead to chaos. One player's cherished hometown is just another loot drop to the next player.

Perhaps we should have a moratorium on town raids for a while whilst we get our house in order. If people want gold and chests and loot, there are these things called dungeons you know! A couple of day's turns spent in a level 2 dungeon netted me about 30k in gold. I don't know how that compares with town taxation, but at least I didn't have to risk treading on any toes to get it.

Have Mages been increased to any form of usefulness so far?
My level 12, 32 INT mage did 41 damage with his last cast of flame, which seemed pretty useful. And you can always kit them out in full plate with an attack-factor enhanced halberd until that point.

I've been checking all the towns I raid before hitting them. Took 7 from NPC mayors and one from a player who wasn't B12, plan on taking more NPC mayored towns soon now that people are killing my mayors. Maybe I can get enough to declare a kingdom again tomorrow. Don't have the extra turns to just keep retaking places, so I'll let Tyler6498 have the town he took.

To be honest, that makes little difference. :P I've faced worse odds before. Don't make me bust out one of my favorite stories. :) The 3-month siege by a 12 million point tribal family against the tribal family I founded (THC, Worlds 4-5-6 & 8, good times). We were outnumbered by over 20x, over powered by over 100x, and we still took out some of their best players, and held out for 3 months. :) Some of the best, most loal players I've ever had the pleasure of leading into battle.

Sadly, when I took over in my company I had to quit all my games. I rarely play anymore, besides these games I can easily bow out of. Gone are my days of founding empires and having 200-300 members under my belt :( To be frank, I dont have the damn patience for it anymore :P lmao
