Aye, we were in the south ,but the towns are being taken constantly by Time so its not safe anymore.

Northwest, all the way! There should be a list of player town in the OP, I think.

Alright, I'm thinking of setting up a new topic specifically for our Kingdom, soon-to-come, since OP doesn't seem to update.

I'm proposing an alliance with Staberinde. They appear to be good people, and the King is back and in action. Low taxes, friendly demeanor. I think we should team up with these guys, so that we may wash the world in red and purple; bruises and blood, baby!

I agree about new thread.

Also, yeah, we could benefit from an alliance. Time is just too big right now. And getting bigger. Hell, I'd go for non-aggression pacts with the other small kingdoms as well as soon as we're established. The Khronos Expansion must come to an end.

Yeah, I might have "accidentially" stolen a town or three from Staberinde, but I'm certainly up for friendly relations if we can swing. So, who wants to be official Emissary of the Dwarven Nation to the King of Staberinde? :)

I'll do it, since I'm in Staberinde and I've been the one communicating with them. :P

Ah, and I may have already titled myself Emissary of Bay12 beforehand ;) To get the ball rolling of course... A week ago. :P

Btw, interestingly enough, Staberinde is giving quests to players level 3 and up; 500 gold if you claim 25 units of territory. Didn't know you could do that as king. Great incentive for players to actively participate in expansion, actually.

Also, I have over a decade of leadership experience in-games, have owned my own business, and have been managing an insurance company for the last 2 years. I think I'd be a pretty good adviser and/or General or some such ;P

Btw,

For those wanting an armor upgrade near our new homes, just 15 tiles east of my town in the northwest is the city of Hopestage @ 48,10 with stocks of 4 platemail and 6-7 splintmail.

If you've got cash and are high level (12+), go for plate. Otherwise, go for splint and upgrade once for 200 gold, which is much cheaper and will give you less encumbrance.

See here:

Platemail costs 840 gold, weighs 103, and gives 18 Defense.
Splintmail costs 315, weighs 63, and gives 12 Defense.

With 200 gold you'll raise that 12 to 16-18, meaning the same defense for 325 gold less.

Of course, buying platemail instead means that same 200 gp will net you 22-23 Defense, so its all about whether you have the movement factor and cash to go for the full potential of platemail. ;)

Quick question, how did Time get so big? Also why when I spawned was I auto assigned to Time? (no faction now) Seems unbalanced.

They have the most players, by far. Last I checked, they have 65+ players, and all the other kingdoms combined only amount to maybe 50. That, and the top-level players founded Time, meaning they're the most powerful and influential. Killjoys, I say. Hate elite groups, ruins the game.

Wait, you were auto-assigned? That's not supposed to happen... I'll take to the Creator about it when I see him.

Surely there has to be a way to balance it, like a npc monster kingdom or something?

Wait, you were auto-assigned? That's not supposed to happen... I'll take to the Creator about it when I see him.

Yeah I started in a Time city and I changed my kingdom to neutral straight away, I have to wait another 6 days to change again :/.
