And I'll be migrating up north west. All glory to Sartain!

I'll also be heading north, if we're going to make a kingdom we might as well start with someone who has land already.

Glory to Sartain, Glory to Armok!!!

I am near-ish to Sartain (although we're working different areas now) and am the mayor of Skullyean, so please don't mess with it.

And I think there are enough of us, and a limited enough amount of landmarks (dungeons, towns) that we will need to settle in multiple areas.

But if we settle close to each other, we lessen the response time if we come under attack and we also indirectly provide growth as the chance that we visit our allies towns is bigger.

Agreed, but I think we have enough people to make that happen in the South, Northwest, and maybe even other areas with potential.

I'm up around there as well, though I've mostly been drifting around looking for stuff so I can level up my damn mage and priest. They're holding my party level back.

How exactly can I raise the Movement Factor of my adventurers?

DF Players never truly leave.  They just abandon the fortress for a few years and then reclaim.

Lighter inventory, higher Constitution.

..Maybe a little bit of Strength as well, I'm not certain.

Got full plate mail for all my warriors, and a few artifacts. Nice. This should make adventuring a lot easier.

Stabby, check high prosperity towns. They have things in their stores that little ones usually don't.

Ask a sage for the location of a level 1 dungeon, if you're careful and decently equipped you should be able to handle it at level 2/3 onwards.

The whole turn-limitting-gameplay is beginning to bum me out... I wait an hour for literally 60-80 seconds of gameplay. :(

Camped in Lichcity now until I get more turns. Only level 3 but i'll just stick around  the area fighting monsters to increase prosperity.

What steps are needed to create a kingdom proper?

Quite burned out on turns my self. I'm barely half way North, and I'll have to make this trek back to finish up a quest later, too.
