Hello every one just joined any through read this thread i figured we as the the great Bay 12ers should form a kingdom instead of raiding random towns to show every one the might of the Dwarves!

PS, my party is called followers of the Toad.

Edit: I forgot to ask but are we at Total war with every one in the standard dorf way?

WELL THAT WAS FUCKING STUPID OF ME!!!
I attempted to capture two other towns, one was too strong, but NO did I stop... The other was ok but they had a ton of Veterans...
Down to 1000g and still need to revive half my party... Well done...

Glad I checked... I found Slimecastle, saw the insane entrance costs (granted, I can easily pay it a hundred times over...) and was all set to raid it before checking if one of us was running it.

MAGES ARE USEFUL! REALLY!

I just raided Fellack, 64, 69, but couldn't find neither chest nor mayor even after searching the whole thing. >:(

ALTHOUGH I discovered all my highly-agile characters couldn't land ONE BLOODY HIT on two veteran guards, my low-level (4-5) mage will all her spells on energy beam hit the guards EVERY SINGLE TIME for 7-8 damage o_O I would have died if it wasn't for my mage.

And I thought it was bullshit that mages can be useful against heavily armored foes. -_- Shame on me.

IDEA!

Name ALL mayors Urist. Doesn't matter what the last name is, just put the first name as Urist. You get the deal.

I'm in as Wanderers and I'm currently running for elections up in the far north west.
This place is littered with free city NPC towns so I'm going to train my party up a bit more and go get them.

Edit: Why dose it say west? I meant to say east, I've no idea how I got those mixed up

Go for it :D If you can get cities up there, DO IT. The south is HEAVILY contested to its becoming very difficult to hold and take towns. We might need to go with my original plan and conquer the north before moving south.

You know what we should really do...
AIM TO CONQUER THE BORDERS!!!
If we take all the towns on the edges, then slowly close in from around them we can then become a true force. If they try to strike out of say the far east, the west can clamp down on their kingdom from that direction, if they try to retailiate, the east can recover and resume their attacks...

I am aiming for the south west. Any parties in that area that wish to aid me are greatly welcome and will be added in capturing their own towns...

Southwest? I'll meet ya there ;) I'm just roaming the general south atm, hitting town by town, doing quests, finding dungeons, etc.

Found this one dungeon with 6 chests, this is the 2nd day in a row Ive been there. I'm already at 8k gold, since the only thing I'll be spending gold on now is splintmail for my last 2-3 guys, and then 200 gp on an upgrade. (same armor, much less weight! Turns is money, my friend)

Mate, Buddy OLD PAL!!!
Wish there was a way to give cash to someone else, cause I am looking at a 3k bill to heal my party, Then it looks like its dungeon diving at the nearby dungeon of my town, then going around collecting more recruits to train up to be mayors...

Sigh there so needs to be a better way to boost prosperity...

There is. Put money directly into the coffers...

I boosted my propsperity by 3 points by doing this.

Would creative use of the trade halls work?

Today I got my party up to movement factor 8. I am now very dwarvishly able to cross mountain terrain in a single turn. Additionally, I have just slain a group of 9 chimeras. Now, which of you jerks would like to be the first to belittle my wondrous achievements? Not that I'm still bitter about the werebears thing or anything like that..
I bet Ehndras thought I was talking about bugbears anyway mutter.. mutter..

Wish there was a way to give cash to someone else.

Indeed it would! One can even sell items to a specific group only.
