My mage has started teking less damage now they have a ranged weapon.  Or at least it seems that way.  It helps that they have greater than 10hp now as well and I can change them to fighting defensively before they die.  They also stramgely have better attack and defense than my priest...

Trying to join, just spits an error page at me.

I've already sent a bug report, hoping to join in sooner or later.

I'm an idiot and put a comma instead of a period in my e-mail address, derp.

EDIT: So do we have an alliance yet, or what do I do when I manage to get signed up? Also party name is Metal Header.

I'm currently in bed on my phone... So I'll keep this short.

I lost my job today (I was resigning in 10 days anyway)... So I'll be playing abd learning the shit out of this game the following days. Need to head back to the workplace to fill out formalities first though, tomorrow.

I seem to be having issues casting spells. I click once, it says loading forever, and if I move the mouse off of it it never opens again. I'm on firefox if it's an issue.

EDIT: Nevermind, refreshing helped.

Still, do we have a kingdom or what?

We need to draft up a formal plan for kingdomness. I'll take a crack later.

Okay, I'll meander about until then. Still wandering the sewers, despite being level 2. There's a magical chainmail in the town shop I have my eye on.

I found that once you start hitting level 3 you'll probably want to leave the sewers. Remember you can ask sages for the location of dungeons.

and i'm not alone (reading the marks atleast)
so...you need a vanguard?
we could start by destabilize the mayors of other groups by voting our own. tomorrow is election day....after all...

I actually just wandered to the next town at level 2, nothing I found I had any chance against. Got a fresh set of sewers (With a chest in it!) and a few more magic items in the shops.

I might just wander around and buy all the magic items I can get my hands on really.

Didn't know about the sages though, thanks!

I had to visit 3 different sages before I got one who could find a dungeon for me. Alternately, you can get quests that involve raiding dungeons and that should give you a dungeon location as well, but those are supposedly a lot more difficult. Which town are you in now?

Concerning weight and movement, Strength determines your maximum encumberance and Constitution determines your movement factor, so the key to a good movement factor is high strength and constitution and a low load.

Also, for anyone who has input on the game, Mutant (the developer) seems to log onto the chat on a daily basis if anyone wants to talk to him or has any suggestions. He seems pretty friendly and open to suggestions :)

Edit: Just headed a bit west, to Juniperfort. I'm a bit closer to our intended destination and closer to the dungeon at 48,25 as well.
Also, if anyone needs some destinations here's a listing of the towns I've visited so far:

Town Name  / Prosperity / Coordinates / Mayor / Kingdom
Deafpall       / 94 / (54, 10) / ? / Staberinde
Flourlake      / 28 / (61, 2)  / NPC / Staberinde
Juniperfort   / 68 / (41, 26) / Count Brass / Staberinde
Oxness        / 83 / (54, 16) / ? / Staberinde
Slate Port    / 78 / (60, 9)  / ? / ?
Stagdell       /88  / (54, 37) / ? / Free City
Threetroll     /59  / (47, 33) / Snorri / Staberinde
Upperbit       /58 / (67, 2) / ? / ?
Valiantsand  /81 / (54, 22) / ? / Staberinde

You have to be level 8 to submit yourself as a voting candidate (at least by a capital city).

Once I'm a bit stronger, I'll start to migrate in a generally southern direction, it looks like a good place to get started without getting into a power struggle with another kingdom.

I'm level 8 :D.

When's the next vote? Everbody in Bay12 can vote for me in a town. Once I have 8 towns, I can form up the Kingdom and recruit you guys into it - followed subsequently by handing out towns to everyone :P
